We used Welcome pick-up in Basel and Amsterdam and had great service both places. We were able to pre-book our transfers and were given the name, phone number, and licenses plate number of our drivers. This made it very easy to communicate with our drivers. The cars were very nice and the drivers had bottles of water for us to enjoy. A bonus was that the prices were similar to a taxi ride but often cheaper than Uber or Lyft.

Driver showed up 45 min late. No meet and greet as advertised. Had to stand outside the airport for 45 minutes waiting for him.. The only reason for 3 stars is that he was fiendly, once he showed up.

We booked online and were sent driver details in advance. A driver (not the same one) was in touch a day ahead to confirm that he will be there to meet us. A few hours before our flight there was another email with a new driver details. On landing we tried calling but there was no answer. The driver who had been in touch previously messaged to say he was on his way but delayed in traffic. On arrival he made us walk out to find him rather than meeting us at arrivals as agreed. We were nervous due to the inconsistencies - the vehicle too was mediocre. Thankfully we made it to our destination but would never use this company again. Be warned!

Worst ever. Driver did not arrive. I am so disappointed. Will not use again. We waited for over 40 minutes. Had the information people page and ring the operator and received no response. I feel I have been scammed, but at the very least ripped off. I bet I will not be offered any refund either.
Thanks for the review, I can explain on that time the airport is so crowded. Its so traffic jam and we have the aero acrobatic to. Our driver stuck and cannot move and still outside at the airport to reach you. We do apologize for the uncomfortable He try to text you but no answer and when he arive at the airport and check was to late.
The driver went to the wrong hotel and was too far away to reach us in time to take us to the airport. Then claimed we failed to turn up despite us having the hotel staff speak to him repeatedly. He simply stayed at the wrong location for 30 min then we were billed anyway. Welcome pickups has no ability to process such disputes and the app and website are deliberately difficult and don’t allow you to easily process a problem or claim when there is a driver problem. I have rarely seen an app so poor allowing you to book but unable to do anything else if there is a problem with your booking

After reading the forums, I preferred to rely on a primary company in Bali and gave up cheaper offers from freelance drivers. Well, after paying an increased rate (double), I was turned on by the employee Kevin to the usual freelance driver without all the guarantees provided by the official company. But what made me angry was that upon arrival the taxi driver was even waiting for a tip!!

My plane was scheduled to arrive in Bali at 7:50am. I wanted to be sure the driver doesn't wait for me at the airport too long. So I booked the transfer for 8:30am to have more time to go through customs and get my bag, and I also provided the driver with my flight number, so they could track it when I arrive. I was at the pick-up point exactly at 8:28am, but the driver was nowhere to be found. After waiting for few minutes I logged in to Viator and I messaged the operator - no response. After few more minutes, I called their phone number and I've been told the driver is on their way to the airport, there's a lot of traffic and he will be there shortly. A bit frustrating, but ok - I will wait. Shortly after, the driver called me directly saying he is on his way to the airport, but I could clearly hear the echo on the other side meaning he was not in a car, but in a room, and was just leaving to pick me up. They clearly forgot about my booking... Long story short, the driver finally showed up around 45 minutes later. There was no sign with my name on it, so I had to guess which driver was calling me. After that experience, I thought I will request a refund for 50% of the cost. After all, I made it to Ubud, it's just that the process was a nightmare. Shortly after, the operator called me back, and told me that on that day it was the driver that was waiting at the airport FOR ME, and as I didn't show up on time, he had to leave the airport and drive back in. When I repeatedly said that it's not what happened, he said "anyway, I cancelled your refund request because you made it from the airport to Ubud" and hung up... It's literally the one and only time I had a bad experience with anything in Bali. I would not recommend.

I can absolutely explain all about the pick up airport that you told in your side. In August Bali was the peak season of tourist in Bali and you are not the only one tourist in Bali. And Bali airport is to crowd and the the traffic jam was bit crazy, that why my driver wait like 15 minutes before the plane are landed. After wait more than an hour you are not showing up as my permission I told the driver to go out from airport because if more wait it will take more parking charge for us. As I wait your respond on message it nothing coming. But suddenly you the massage coming and told you at the airport already. Thats why the driver come back to pick up. About noise that your heard the driver is in groceries to buy something for his the familly when he back home. After you landed you can connect to free internet in airport that the driver already wait for you. Immigration and wait for suitcase it not take short time that why is important you connect to the driver. About refound 50%, i cann't do this, From airport to ubud that time take 2.5 hours.
