We were picked up right on time and the transport was perfect. We were updated about traffic delays.
The driver contacted us multiple times for pickup and we were supposed to be picked up at 11:00 and instead we were rushed and picked up at 9:30 I was supposed to be just us on the ride to south hampton but we had 4 others we had to stop and pickup The lady driver was very rude and didn’t speak any English, I had get on the phone with the operator and talk to him about where we where going as she didn’t know When we did finally get to the cruise ship she had no idea what cruise ship or where to drop us off Then she was very rude and told my wife to shut up That we did understand We have a return trip through this company but I will be finding a different company. DO NOT use this company!
Our driver arrived on time and took us straight to the Dover cruise port. Everything went smoothly and we would certainly use this service again.
Shuttle pickup for us was as planned, however we were picked up at 10 am and the next pickup for individuals was at a hotel around the corner at 11 am. We sat in vehicle for almost an hour waiting for this pickup. The company should have arranged this pickup closer together or contacted us to perhaps change pickup time.
I booked this transfer from our hotel in London for 9 AM on May 10, 2026 going to Southampton Cruise Port hoping to arrive by 11 AM. We had assumed we would have a private vehicle. No, it was a 50 seat bus. We thought we would arrive at 11 AM to board. The bus did other pickups around London with one stop lasting over 40 minutes ! The bus was nearly full. We arrived at Southampton close to 4 hours later than we had anticipated. Needless to say this was extremely stressful. This totally ruined our boarding experience. I am asking for a total refund per Viator’s guarantee of satisfaction. Please keep in mind, we have other excursions booked on this trip.
Driving is a skill that many of us take for granted. Our driver Fernando did a fantastic job of getting us to our destination safely and on time. And he was pleasant to chat with from time to time (we did not want to distract him). He texted us on WhatsApp ahead of time so that we knew where and when to meet him. He stowed our luggage in the car and away we went.
Wow, this was probably one of our worst viator experiences, if not the worst ever. Our guide spoke no English. She was a contractor for whoever this group uses and I would tell you her name, but we never were told. Our luggage was handled poorly she broke a tag off of my daughter's bag. She didn't put the van in neutral when picking up the 2nd guests and the van began to roll. The temperature was burning up.hot. She drove very dangerously, tailgating, cutting people off, causing many people to blow the horn at us. She took multiple calls during the drive. She didnt know where she was taking us, so she had to call the company that contracted her and eventually had to ask us on Google translate which dock and terminal the Queen Mary 2 was at. We told her 10, the Mayflower terminal. She couldn't read the signs for Mayflower and initially took us to the Fred Olsen ship terminal. Once we got to the qm2, one of the other couples said we go to dover after this, right? She didnt know what they were saying so they had to call the provider. They were supposed to be leaving out of dover, not southampton, but they had put them on our van. Dover is approximately 2hrs away. I cant recommend this provider at all. If they read this, I dont know the drivers name, but please never hire her again.
I booked for 2 private vans to take us to the cruise port instead we were picked up by a bus that made several stops causing a delay on our scheduled check-in time. We were not informed about the change in transportation.
Sabrina was an excellent driver on the way from Southampton to London. She answered all our questions about the scenery
Couldn’t have been easier. Painless. They arrived at the scheduled time at our hotel, loaded our suitcases, nice comfy bus. Great driver. have a nice nap on the way to the cruise port.
