Un village de moulins à eau situé là où les eaux bleu-vert de la rivière Slunjcica se jettent dans la rivière Korana. La plupart des maisons ont été construites à la fin du 19e et au début du 20e siècle.
Les lacs de Plitvice sont le parc national le plus connu de Croatie et le seul joyau naturel croate inscrit sur la liste des sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Les principales attractions de ce parc, unique au monde, sont les 16 petits lacs reliés par des cascades créées par la sédimentation du travertin, un type particulier de calcaire. Ce parc national englobe la source de la rivière Korana, située dans la zone entourée de forêts denses de hêtre, sapin et épicéa. Il y a aussi plusieurs grottes dans le parc, ainsi que des sources et des prairies fleuries. L'ours brun se démarque comme un de nombreuses espèces animales protégées. La popularité de ce parc est également renforcée par les moyens de transport spéciaux utilisés pour transporter les visiteurs autour de : les trains électriques panoramiques et les bateaux électriques silencieux.

We had a wonderful day traveling from Zagreb to Split. Our driver, Dario, was excellent, helpful, punctual, and a very good driver. Dario seemed very comfortable with our slightly boisterous crowd and was accommodating to any special requests. The sprinter van was very comfortable for 6 of us. The Plitvice Lakes were beautiful - the photos do not do justice to the beauty and intimacy one experiences with the lakes and falls. Our tour included a guide (Maria) within the park and she was super helpful and had great energy. This was the perfect way to get us from Zagreb to Spilt!

We had a great day transferring Zagreb to Split. 1st stop was at Rastoke with a wander around town and coffee. Then onto Plitvice Lakes for about 4 hrs of amazing scenery with waterfalls that just kept on flowing. Thank you to our wonderful driver Marco for your guidance and information.

Marco was our private guide and transfer driver. He was very knowledgeable and despite it absolutely pouring down rain in the Plitvice National Lakes he never slowed down the tour, kept checking in with us to make sure we were doing good. He didn't cut the tour short. We so appreciated him from the beginning of the tour and transfer to the ending. Excellent!

We had Marko as our driver/ guide. We enjoyed the entire time from the pick-up at the Zagreb airport for transfer to Plitvice Lakes, the guided tour of the lakes the next morning and finally transfer on to Split. Marko was an excellent guide in the Plitvice Lakes Park. We did 4 hours under his guidance in the park and felt like we did the park justice as we had such a short timeframe in which to visit. He had excellent commentary about the park and was genuinely pleasant person to spend time with in the spectacular setting that is Plitvice Lakes. I had excellent communication with Zagreb transfers and highly recommend based on that and our time with Marko.

We took a tour from Zagreb to Plitvice and did it ourselves....so it was private. Very nice; long drive through green fields and small villages (Rastoke). In the park, all well marked and safe. Go with good footwear, comfortable clothes and water. They are trails of 4 km at least each....but worth it.

Special thanks to our driver Vjeran for making our transfer very smooth. He came on time and we rode in a comfortable van with enough space to accommodate all our luggages. We requested for an earlier arrival in Split and he was able to accommodate our request with minor changes to our tour itinerary. Very professional and easy to get along with. Highly recommended!
