Travelled through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia by road for 16 days

We strongly recommend Hayk the guide for touring in South Caucasus; that is Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Hayk will tailor-make your dream trip to these beautiful and interesting countries. Don’t be afraid to think and wish outside the box. Don’t miss trekking, walk in old towns, qvevri wine, mud volcanos, cheese tasting, classic music, stone and bronze age sites and of course, do not miss the monasteries. Be sure to educate yourself on 19th century history, post soviet times and contemporary political developments. The nations of South Caucasus are still formative. Set aside at least two weeks if you aim for visiting all three countries.

Amazing tour, amazing knowledge amazing sites, amazing tour

From before we arrived in Tbilisi, Hayk had communicated with us about the tour and specialised the itinerary to what we were doing and what we wanted to see and do. Arranging our amazing tour guide in Anahit and our driver in Sarkis, we were welcomed to Georgia (after finding our location) and loaded into the large and comfortable seven seat vehicle for the tour. On our tour from Tbilisi to Yerevan, Anahit gave us an amazing history lesson on Armenia from its origin as an empire to the current state of today. We were taken across the Georgian-Armenian border with ease, and continued the journey seeing the beautiful and diverse countryside of Armenia starting in the Lori Provence. We stopped off at Akhtala and Haghpat monasteries, stopping for an amazing local lunch, driving through the Debet canyon, onto the historical Aragatsotn Provence (not to be confused with Ararat), stopping off at the Armenian alphabet park, stopping for some tone treats at Saghmosavank and then onto Yerevan with a doorstop drop off. On our return to Tbilisi from Yerevan, we were picked up again by Sarkis and Anahit, catching up with what we saw and experienced in Yerevan. The journey back saw more amazing beauty of Armenia starting with the Lake Sevan and Sevanavnk Monastery, driving through the diversity of Tavush Provence, stopping off at Dilijan (known as little Switzerland and just beautiful), stopping in at Haghardzin Monastery (built into a monolith rock and carved into the mountain), through the beauty of Diligian National Park, then onto Tbilisi. The driving skill of Sarkis, made you feel safe and comfortable, combined with the knowledge of Anahit in each place we stopped and passed, just makes for an amazing private tour, very much worth the time and value. Overall, a 5* experience, and one that, should you want a tour that goes the extra mile, has amazing knowledge of the region and shows you sites and places you would never see without having an amazing guide like Anahit. Highly recommended and definitely worth taking on this journey and tour!

Great road trip. One of the highlights of our vacation.

These people know what they do. Sargis the driver and Anahit the guide took our familiy of 4 on a full-day trip from Yerevan to Tbilisi. We drove in a comfortable SUV through the mountains, visiting Sevan Lake, Haghpat, Sevanavank, and Akhtala monasteries. The sights on the road were fantastic and the monasteries really awe-inspiring, even for our teenage kids. Anahit is chatty and knowledgeable and we all learned a lot about Armenia's history and present life. This ended up as one of the highlights of our trip to Armenia and Georgia. Not cheap but worth it.

10/10- Highly Recommend!

This was by far the best tour I've ever experienced. I travel a lot and try to book a tour at each destination. However, I have never met a guide as knowledgeable and passionate as Hayk. We had been in Armenia a week prior to our transfer to Georgia. We were shown around and did a couple of tours, but nothing compared to the stops and information provided by Hayk!

Outstanding

Outstanding guide and an excellent rep of his country, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Great with the kids, not easy to engage with small kids, however, he managed to call their attention. Definitely, the guide of choice when in Armenia.

Best private guide ever!

As a family we had the chance to travel to several destinations around the globe, and travelling with a teenager sometimes is challenging. Hayt has been our best tour guide ever! He was funny, entertaining, deeply knowledgeable about Armenia's history and able to keep us all engage during more than 8 hours during our roadtrip from Tbilisi to Yerevan, even more he was able to accommodate an additional trip to Garni's Temple area the next day, hands down he provided us our best travel experience ever! and we are now planning to come back to Armenia.
