We had a great day of transferring from Santiago to Lisbon. We also stopped off in a small town called Aveiro . Luis was a great driver. He was easy to talk to and drove us safely to the airport.

We took a private car from Santiago to Lisbon. The car was comfortable and our driver was delightful and full of knowledge about the Sara’s we were passing through. We made two stops along the way in Aviero and Villa da Obidos. Both were fun and charming. I would recommend using this transfer as a customized was to travel. It made the drive enjoyable!

For expediency, my husband and I booked a private transfer (car) from Santiago de Compostela, Spain to Lisbon, Portugal. We absolutely did not regret this decision and are grateful that this option was offered. Our driver, Vasco, picked us up at our hotel promptly at 0700, helped us with our luggage and into his waiting, very clean van. While we originally thought this would be a very long, boring day, nothing could be farther from the truth, surprising both my husband and me. Vasco is from Portugal and immediately made us feel comfortable and began telling us a bit about his country. By the time we arrived - very very expeditiously - to the Batalha Monastery, our chosen site seeing place to visit, Vasco continued to help us by guiding us in getting tickets. He also suggested we stop for lunch in Nazaré, home of world class surfing that my husband had expressed interest in. We agreed and enjoyed not only visiting the point where all the surfing takes place and is seen on televised sporting events, but also a most wonderful restaurant recommended by Vasco. Afterwards, we made our way into Lisbon where Vasco dropped us off at our hotel. What a wonderful way to be introduced to Portugal! Vasco made our day and we will always remember his kindness, professionalism and introduction to his well loved country. Memorable! Thank you Vasco!
