Our tour of Rhonda with a wine tasting was amazing. Joan was a great guide. Picking us up in Seville and dropping us off in Malaga with a few stops in between were fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Communication prior to booking was great! Mahsa answered all my questions and was so accommodating. On the day of our tour, the driver was on time and sprinter van was clean and very comfortable for our family of 9. We were picked up in Seville and driven to Ronda where our guide met us. Tania was an absolute pleasure! We wish she could have guided us our entire trip in Spain. She was super enthusiastic and knowledable. Then we went to Setenil for a bit and lastly driven to our hotel in Malaga. Would recommend!
We were extremely fortunate to have Carlos as our driver for two of our adventures. He picked us up in a beautiful Mercedes sedan for our tour of Cordoba and Carmona. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable about the towns. He even provided details of points along the way. Our second day was transport us from Seville to Malaga with a stop in Ronda on the way. He escorted us to the historic Roman bridge and then was able to get us a table for lunch overlooking that same beautiful bridge. We highly recommend Not Just a Tourist and recommend that you request Carlos as your guide. You won't be disappointed.
The trip to Rhonda is very beautiful but Ronda even more so. Besides the bridge we explored the oldest bullring in the world. Very educational and impressive even if you don’t like bullfighting! Our guide Joan was a good driver friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to a great restaurant La Cuera outside of Ronda with quality Spanish food and great views. Then we went to the gorge to see the bridge from below. Spectacular!! Lovely day apart from the traffic entering Seville well handled by Joan!
A very inflexible tour operator, Masha that refused to accommodate our request to pick us up at our hotel despite us paying for a private transfer. She claimed that the car is not able to park in old town where our hotel is located. However our hotel confirmed that private cars including taxis can come by side porch to pick us up. After several attempts to call her as we couldn’t be walking with our big luggages on the cobbled stone road, she blocked my friend’s number and refused to answer calls from the hotel. Very unprofessional n rude. Totally will not recommend her agency to anyone.
I’m very sorry to hear you were unhappy, but I’d like to clarify a few things. You booked 2 tours with us and were very happy with both tours according to the happy images of you on both tours and the feedback you provided to our guides. On this day trip, from the beginning, we explained the pickup point. Seville’s historic old town has strict regulations that prevent private tour vehicles from entering certain areas. While taxis may have exceptions, tour operators must comply with different guidelines, which are beyond our control. We take great pride in the care we provide to our customers, as reflected in over 1,200 excellent reviews. However, there are limits to what we can do, especially when it involves adhering to local laws. Despite this, we offered a nearby pickup point just 4 minutes away, arranged for our guide to assist with your luggage, and maintained clear communication throughout. Unfortunately, the repeated calls and messages—both to me and our team—became overwhelming and escalated to harassment. I had also informed you in advance that I would not be available that day. It’s also worth noting that this review feels highly personal, as it has been repeated by your group and contradicts the positive messages you sent to our guides after each tour as well as the happy photos of you enjoying your tours. While frustrations can happen, I believe this kind of anger and misrepresentation is unfair. I hope you can appreciate the effort we made to provide a good experience and the enjoyable tour you had with us while I am very sorry this was not enough for you. Wishing you all the best and more understanding in your future travels.
My two girlfriends and I contacted Not Just a Tourist (contact person - Masha) to arrange a private transfer from Seville to Malaga including a visit to Ronda end October 2024. Initially we were advised by Masha that we would not be picked up directly from our hotel due to difficult parking and we were asked to meet our driver at a meeting place 5 mins' walking distance away (not on a flat pathway). However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were advised by the hotel concierge that there is a designated parking space just next to the hotel entrance for guests' pick up and drop off. At this point, we requested Masha (via Whatsapp) to pick us up at the hotel directly, especially given that it has been raining consecutively during our visit in Seville (including the day we left for Malaga) and we have many luggages as well. We even asked our hotel concierge to leave a long voice message explaining that it is possible to park. However, Masha continued to insist (over texts) that it was not possible to pick us up directly with some ridiculous reasons. At the same time, her message tone has also turned unfriendly. Our several attempts (including those made by the hotel concierge) to call her on her mobile and at her office no (which was a USA listed no) were left unanswered and then she proceeded TO BLOCK ME on Whatsapp. We were utterly and completely shocked and appalled by her actions. How could a decent travel agency refuse to pick up its customers' calls. If we have not prepaid for this tour, we would have terminated her service right away!!!! Please note that we arrived at our hotel in a taxi which dropped us off in front of the hotel. How could a costly private transfer (which supposed to provide more convenience and comfort) provides worse-off service than a regular taxi. My advise is to skip Not Just a Tourist, unless you want awful customer service!!!

We booked Daytrip for our private transfer from Seville to Malaga. Lovely, comfortable car and excellent driver. We had originally planned on a stop in Ronda, but since our tour group decided to add Ronda to our itinerary, we chose to stop at Sentinel de Las Bodegas for a visit. We can not say enough about our wonderful driver, Luis. He took excellent care of us the entire trip. He took us to the top of the village of Zarhara for photos before continuing on to the cave villages. There he dropped us off and picked us up when we were ready to continue to Malaga. When we arrived at our AirBnB in Malaga, we had a problem with entering the building, so Luis called our contact for us and was able to solve the problem. He also helped us with getting our luggage to our apartment and waited until we were able to go in the apartment. We thank him for such excellent care and we can highly recommend this service.
Jose was a great driver! We arrived to Malaga safely and he made sure to walk us to our hotel so that we wouldn’t get lost. We also decided to upgrade and have a private tour given to us by Abby. Not only did she talk about points of interests along the drive, she also walked with us around Ronda and pointed out places for us to visit during our free time. Worth it.
Carlos was perfect for our family; very helpful, excellent communication and shared interesting insights (particularly during our visit to an olive oil farm and Rhonda) Behind the scenes, Mahsa was responsive and helpful (including adjusting the destination to accommodate our itinerary)
Carlos was great. He arrived few min earlier outside near our hotel and give a call to inform where to spot him as our hotel dont allow car to come in. Superb knowledge of Ronda and help us to take lots of nice photos! On the road, he also explained some of the landscapes around. Very good driving skills too! It was a fuss free journey and highly recommended!
