Our driver, Aldo, was wonderful! Private lunch was one of the best experiences of our entire vacation and our visit to Orvieto was great. Transfer was seamless! Thank you!
Great tour and even better tour guides. Very knowledgeable, professional and entertaining. Well worth the time and money. Highly recommend.
I used Aldo's company for customised tours and several transfers during our recent trip and have done so over many years. I am a raving fan of this company for efficiency of service and prompt responses to communications. Our regular driver/guide Emiliano is always early for pickups ensuring a unhurried start to the service. Every expectation is met and more, once we are in his hands I never worry about the rest of the day, I'm confident everything will be taken care of, and it always is, lunch will be booked and confirmed, comfort stops are taken care of, information and history regarding our destination and the areas we pass through is given freely and confidently. With our fantastic driver/guide at the wheel every day trip and tour is a pleasure, in the always spotless Mercedes . I would never go anywhere else.
Best ever experience with Aldo.and his team. I wouldn't hire anyone else for my next vacation in Italy
Carlo was friendly, professional, a great driver and fun, too! He was so respectful of our needs, helped with luggage, etc. The lunch was delicious. An overall great day!
From pick up to drop off flight delays Aldo and his team were fantastic and we had a very enjoyable trip! Highly recommend using them.
Our tour guide was named Emiliano and he picked us up exactly on time (he later told us his birthday was the previous day and it was the first day of school). He was friendly, hilarious, and extraordinarily welcoming. Our trip was from Rome to Ferentillo, with a stop in Orvieto and a countryside lunch. The trip to Orvieto was smooth, he told us about himself and the Italians. Stopping in Orvieto was an absolute dream, it's a quaint town with a majestic church; it's what you imagine an Italian town would look like. I loved the small artisanal shops and the smell of the countryside. Emiliano asked us in advance if we wanted to eat in this restaurant he got married in that's just off Orvieto, the restaurant was not open to the public today but would open for us but with no menu. We jumped at the opportunity at having a restaurant to ourselves and eating an authentic Italian meal! When we arrived we were in awe, it was an absolute dream; it was beautiful and serene. Our meal was outside under the trees with a cool breeze. It was the best meal I had in Italy to date...and we've eaten all over Italy. What an experience it was. After the lunch we headed to our final destination as Emiliano gave us tips on how to ride a Ferrari in Modena and where to visit in Almalfi. It was the best day trip we had!
My wife and I brought our 4 kids to Italy for our summer vacation this June. This was the first time my children traveled out of the country and our first time in Italy. A friend suggested that we book a few tours with Aldo. He picked us up from the airport upon our arrival and got us situated in Rome. The next day Carlo took us on a tour of Rome in a beautiful Mercedes van. It was so organized and saved us so much time. We saw all the sights in Rome and Carlo arranged lunch for us at an amazing restaurant. It was a wonderful way to start our vacation. Later in our trip we booked the tour of Tuscany/Florence. Our driver was Emiliano and he was amazing. The tour was spectacular. We had lunch and wine tasting at a beautiful winery in Tuscany. I can honestly say that was one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve never had food so good. We had some of the amazing wine shipped back to our house. This is absolutely the best way to see Italy. The guides are so friendly and knowledgeable. They became part of the family. I can’t imagine doing Italy any other way. When we make plans to go back to Italy, we will book more tours with Aldo. I can’t wait to see these guys again.
We ALWAYS use "Your Tour in Italy" and Aldo Monti when traveling to Italy... they are the best!!! Reliable..friendly and professional service!!! I know you will like them as much as we do...R Welling
This is our third visit to Italy and our third tour with Aldo and his guides. If we are fortunate enough to return, we will definitely contact them again. Our first two trips were excellent tours of Rome and Florence. This time we requested more of a custom tour. We were picked up in Rome, toured the Orvieto countryside including lunch at a beautiful vineyard, then were transported to Montepulciano where we were staying for a few days. Christiano met us at the airport and waited patiently as our flight had been delayed. We were jet lagged and requested a stop for coffee. He took us to the BEST coffee (his words) at a little shop right off the highway. Who would have guessed? The owners spoke only Italian and were very friendly. During our drive through the countryside, Christiano was very informative sharing his love for his country. We stopped at the Castello di Corbara winery where we had our first taste of wild boar, hand made pasta, and Italian white wine. The food was delicious and we even learned a little Italian from our waitress and the cook. The winery was on the top of a hill and the views were spectacular. (Our first 2 tours also included a scheduled lunch in a local restaurant prearranged by Aldo.) We stopped at the Duomo di Orvieto before making our way to Montepulciano. Christiano made sure we accomplished everything on our wish list even though we had a bit of a late start. Do not hesitate to book your tour with Aldo! Our first tour was in 2009 with 9 guests, second time was in 2013 with 12 guests, and there were 4 of us this time.
