This trip was a must see, and Mia and Sonja were wonderful guides. Highly recommend. The waterfalls and the lakes were spectacular. It is a lot of up-and-down walking so I be careful on the uneven terrain.
Went from Zagreb to Plitvice with guide Sanja. She was great with commentary along the way which was interesting and informative. We joined with group from Split with Mia as a guide also. Both guides were energetic, fun and shared a great deal of information and appreciation of the beautiful lakes. Stunning scenery. Rated 4 vs 5 as the large group took away some of the value of being in nature. If you were near the back of the group you missed the commentary at vantage points. We were well looked after with great instruction and suitable stops both directions. Bus drivers were very good.
Daniela was nice but it seemed that she didn’t want to be there or it was getting too boring for her. I think she needs a break from the tour
We had an amazing day in the national park with Mia and Sanja! It was a long day (11 hours) but the pace we set through the park was very reasonable that everyone was able to keep up. Ultimately this was a great way to get from Zagreb to Split!
We had an amazing time at Plitvice Lakes with our two incredible guides Mia and Sanja! From the pick-up to the beautiful park, transfer and drop-off, they did great at anticipating our needs and helping us with every detail. We had a bunch of luggage and were quite nervous about safety etc. and we could not be more pleased with our experience. I would give a 6/5 if it was possible, I highly recommend you book this tour/transfer!
Excellent tour! Mia and Sanja were excellent tour guides! Both were very friendly, knowledgeable and organised. It’s a long day but well worth it!
We started the walk at the Lake close to noon and ended slightly past 3pm. Not much commentary by the guide throughout. It would have been better for the tour company to advise before the amount of walk expected and timings (lunch was after that close to 4pm). Views were nevertheless fantastic!
Mia and Sanja were excellent guides keeping everything running smoothly with grace and humour. The park is stunning and absolutely worth a visit. However, the same tour as a return trip is only 65 Euros from either Split or Zagreb so why is Grey Line charging 149 Euros for the transfer. We only use one bus each way and the fuel cost of carrying the luggage doesn’t warrant the extra cost. Only use this tour if you are time poor, otherwise the Flixbus will transfer you between cities and then take the lower cost tour - your experience of the lakes will be the same.
From the start of the trip, virtual luxury on the tour bus to a wee stop for coffee to arrival at the destination everything was well organised and ran smoothly. Our guide Daniella was amazing, very informative and helpful. The lakes themselves were spectacular, I don’t think any photo will do this area of the world justice. We had a perfect day both for weather and crowds, the day is a must do.
It is a full day , leaving Zagreb at 8 am. Sonja our guide from Zagreb explained our day. She is knowledgeable and so nice to be with. At Plitivice Park we met up with the group from Split led by Mia. The two groups stayed together during the tour of the park. Both guides were excellent and knew their facts. We went on to Split with a full group on the bus. Great day.
