Overall it was a good experience. We checked in at the desk in the terminal, waited about 20 minutes to find out our dock number, took the moving walkway to the dock area, waited another 10 minutes at the dock, and were boarded onto a typical Venetian water taxi along with eight other people. Each group was dropped at a different dock and, as it turned out, we were last at the Arsenale canal. All together, it took 1.5 hours to reach our destination but we avoided the chaos of the train/bus station and the long vaporetto lines nearby. The good: Direct delivery with your to your neighborhood/hotel on a nice boat. The just okay: It could have been a bit more organized in terms of having a boat ready. Others on our boat waited longer than we did and I'm not sure why. There were other water taxis at the docks offering a ride but I don't know the price difference or whether we would have had a long wait with them.
The experience was just how I imagined it to be! A spectacular service, and transfer from Marco Polo airport! I would highly recommend! Our captain was friendly, and very accommodating!
The vendor will not acknowledge your voucher at the water taxi station. We were told to wait by several different gates. It was an awful experience. We ended up paying for a water taxi directly which is what those operators wanted. Worst of all was we were dropped off at the wrong hotel. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. There is a real problem at that airport water taxi station. I demand a refund immediately. Your vendor did not provide transportation to our hotel in Venice. I will dispute the fees through my credit card if I do not see a refund immediately.
Was a bit apprehensive but everything went smoothly from locating the office to the drop off. Had a lovely night transfer.
Top class service on time and on point very good very clean boat the driver was top notch getting luggage in and of the boat
Driver wasn’t super friendly , we had to put our own bags. We were under the impression that it would only be us , it was 5 other people and still 90 euros. I would hire a water taxi privately and not use Viator as they use a company anyway
The directions for pickup on the email did not tell you where to go, made it difficult to find initially
It was a really nice way to start our trip off, especially when you're unfamiliar with Venice and the ferry lines. It's a little pricy but when your warry from a long flight assuring you get in the proximity of your hotel is huge! Venice is a walking city and very easy to get lost in at first. Removing the risk of walking around lost with all your luggage as your first impression is worth a few extra bucks. By the end of our trip we were comfortable enough to take the bigger public ferry back to save a few bucks there. Captain was nice, had a short wait but nothing like a queue, ride was smooth and relaxing, dropped us off and pointed us to the hotel's front door. Worth if for the arrival transfer.
Thank you very much for taking time out of your day to write this review! Your feedback is important to us! We are pleased to read that you had such a good experience with us! We hope that you enjoyed Venice and the taxi ride! We are improving our trip experiences as we go, better suited to the feedback left by you! If you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to contact us! Excellent! Exit terminal and go to water taxi area, window #71. When we arrived at the window, the staff knew who we were immediately, gave us our voucher and a map of Venice, indicating where our hotel was and where the boat would be dropping us off. We waited in an air conditioned lounge with ample seating and access to restaurant with to go food and bottled water. The boat ride was an adventure I will always remember!
Great service ! Have used them twice before. Pick up from VCE airport was smooth and prompt Drop off was right 50 meters from hotel on the grand canal
