Trad on the Prom The Show On a short break in Mayo we decided to take a trip to Galway for the Trad on the Prom show. I was a bit apprehensive about attending as I had sustained a fractured wrist a few days prior to attending the show!! However I was really blown away by the incredible talent of the musicians, dancers and singers. The history of Ireland filled the auditorium through the music, dance and explanatory comments of the MC The audience comprised of people from all parts of the world and each country was welcomed individually by Chris Kelly, producer mc and musician We had an unforgettable night of entertainment which will stay with us for a long time.
Authentic, varied, packed with talent. Irish dance and music. Multiple world dance champions and exceptional musicians with multiple talents.
Amazing, amazing, amazing! The show was so incredible and talent was wild. The music, dancing and passion was fantastic.
It was a great show of Irish song, music and dance. Each of the musicians were experts in their own right and they played together brilliantly including some of their own compositions. The dancers are all wold champions and excellent. They made Irish dancing both look very easy (which it's not!) And entertaining. A show well worth going to see
Trad on the Prom was one of the highlights of our trip to Galway. From start to finish, the show was packed with incredible music, beautiful songs, and outstanding performances by world-class artists. One of the most unforgettable moments was hearing Gerard Fahy perform on the uilleann pipes. The haunting, soulful music gave us goosebumps. The musical talent shone throughout the evening! The award-winning dancers with their lightning-fast footwork, and precision were remarkable. If you're visiting Galway, don't miss this incredible celebration of Irish music, dance, and culture. It's uplifting, emotional, and entertaining. Highly recommended!

Incredibly fun, energetic performances with talented dancers and signers. It’s a bit out of the way. And the setting could be a bit more grand. But it was a fantastic time and I completely recommend you put it on your schedule.
