Les vieux quartiers autour de l'Acropole Profitez d'une visite photographique immersive dans les quartiers autour de l'Acropole. Au cours de vos promenades dans les ruelles pittoresques de Plaka et au-delà, tous les points de tir panoramiques vous seront révélés par un itinéraire élaboré qui ne manquera pas des joyaux secrets de chaque quartier. Lors de votre rencontre avec le photographe, vous recevez des instructions préliminaires en fonction de vos compétences. Itinéraire: une visite photographique de l’Acropole; Rue Plaka, Thiseio et Dionysiou Areopagitou. Notre promenade photographique commence dans le quartier historique de Plaka où vous apprendrez à naviguer dans les environs, à travailler avec la lumière, la couleur, l'arrière-plan, les influences et les défis du lieu. Manoirs néoclassiques et toits de tuiles rouges, petites ruelles sinueuses, escaliers pittoresques, balcons fleuris de bougainvillées et une mosaïque de gens fascinante. Les maisons blanchies à la chaux d’Anafyotika, plus décontractée, et son environnement d’île sont l’un des lieux de prise de vue à ne pas manquer dans la région. En atteignant le Thiseio plus moderne et la rue piétonne Dionysiou Areopagitou admirant les maisons et l'Acropole se dressant majestueusement au-dessus de vous, vous vous seriez entraîné pour capturer des images qui ont un impact! Quelques vues spectaculaires sur la grandeur du Parthénon attendent d'être photographiées de l'opossite à l'Acropole, colline de Philopappos. Le spot est idéal pour apprendre à prendre des photos de paysages plus solides en utilisant plus efficacement les réglages de votre appareil photo. Un autre itinéraire est Down Town avec les quartiers de Psiri et Keramikos. Documentez sur la vie trépidante et artistique de Psiri et sur la ville bohème de Keramikos, à proximité. Sous la direction du professionnel, vous apprendrez plus à prendre des photos et à élargir votre capacité à choisir des sujets convaincants et à les représenter de manière plus significative. Une caméra fournit l'excuse parfaite pour aller au-delà de ce que l'on peut voir, pour découvrir la culture authentique de chaque lieu. Ateliers d'artisans à l'ancienne, ruelles cachées, contre-cultures et espaces alternatifs, rues, bars et tavernes traditionnelles coexistent en harmonie, créant une atmosphère fascinante qui vous attend pour raconter leurs histoires à travers vos images. Au cours de vos promenades dans les ruelles animées, vous apprendrez à améliorer vos photographies de personnes et à capturer le vrai caractère d'une personne. Les deux zones vous offrent un large éventail d'opportunités en matière de photographie de rue, une atmosphère fascinante et constituent quelques-uns des visages les plus intéressants d'Athènes non classique!

My photo tour of Athens with Socrates was a highlight of my trip to Greece! As a photographer I love capturing images of the places and people I encounter while abroad. Like Socrates, I have a particular interest in documentary photography and loved having the opportunity to hear his thoughts and advice regarding how I could capture such candid images. He took me to colorful and interesting parts of the city that reflected my interests which I had shared with him. It was a very unique, personalized, and encouraging experience. I felt so lucky to get to take photographs alongside such an experienced and talented photographer. He was very respectful and worked hard to meet my requests. It was an important workshop, and one thing is certain—I gained more inspiration than I expected regarding urban photography. Since I already had some experience with photography, we didn’t waste time on technical details and went straight to the part about perceiving the urban landscape and the subjects I wanted to photograph. Socrates Baltagiannis, freelance photojournalist, was our guide/instructor for this photo walk. He led us through the historic neighborhoods below the Acropolis. Before our arrival,Socrates asked about my specific interests, experience levels and any specific areas of instruction in which I was interested. He was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I asked for help with composition and exposure, especially in architectural and landscape photography. He offered great suggestions and advice that helped me improve my skills. In addition to the photography aspects of our tour, we had interesting conversations about a wide range of topics. His English skills are excellent and I know he also speaks other languages. I highly recommend this experience!

Had an amazing day with Socrates. Not only did he adjust my photography technique to get the best street photography shots, but, even more, shared some of his favorite 'people places' to experience Athens from a local's perspective. His professional pointers on colors, angles, people and framing are priceless. Was able to continue shooting the rest of the day. And having him explain more history and culture was bonus.
