La source se trouve au sommet d'une courte course - dirigez-vous vers le figuier, situé à seulement 2 km (1,2 miles) au sud-ouest du village de Rum. La source a été nommée en l'honneur de la description évocatrice de Lawrence dans les Sept Piliers de la Sagesse : '' Devant nous, un chemin, pâle à l'usage, zigzaguait sur le socle de la falaise… D'entre [les] arbres, dans les recoins cachés du rocher , a émis des cris étranges; les échos, transformés en musique, des voix des Arabes abreuvant les chameaux aux sources qui jaillissaient à trois cents pieds au-dessus du sol ». Bien que la piscine elle-même soit en grande partie peu attrayante, étant une flaque d'eau stagnante, les vues sur le désert sont vraiment spectaculaires
Parmi les vastes étendues de sable couleur rouille du désert du Wadi Rum, la dune de sable rouge, ou « Al Hasany » en arabe, est l'une des plus célèbres. Officiellement nommé Al Ramal, il est devenu plus connu sous son nom descriptif. Il se détache contre une falaise comme s'il faisait partie de la montagne. Colorée en rouge par la présence d'oxyde de fer, cette dune est fine et douce sous les pieds, ce qui la rend parfaite pour marcher pieds nus.
Khazali Canyon dans le Wadi Rum est le site de pétroglyphes gravés dans les murs de la grotte représentant des humains et des antilopes datant de l'époque thamudique. Ce canyon étroit contient de nombreuses gravures rupestres nabatéennes de personnes et d'animaux. Jebel Khazali, un pic situé au centre de la zone protégée du Wadi Rum s'ouvre dans une fissure étroite d'environ 100 m de long. Ses murs intérieurs sont couverts d'inscriptions thamudiques, nabatéennes et islamiques, ainsi que de pétroglyphes représentant des humains et des animaux. Remarquables sont les plantes des pieds pétroglyphes, qui avaient probablement une signification religieuse. En 1932, l'épigraphiste français Savignac nota les gravures de la fente et en publia certaines en 1934. Les pétroglyphes et les inscriptions de Khazali Siq forment une collection impressionnante étant l'une des principales attractions touristiques du Wadi Rum. Au bout du canyon, il y a plusieurs bassins artificiels creusés dans la roche pour la collecte de l'eau
Pont du Petit Rocher : Facile à gravir, ce pont offre de superbes vues sur une vaste étendue de désert. Il est facilement accessible et non dangereux, il est parfait pour les familles avec enfants et les personnes qui se sentent moins à l'aise avec les hauteurs sous leurs pieds
Des figuiers sauvages et des buissons du désert parmi d'énormes rochers et du sable rouge et jaune rendent ce canyon unique. Le canyon Abu Khashaba est l'un des canyons qui valent la peine d'être visité et il vous faudra environ une heure pour le traverser.
Un pont rocheux inférieur qui figure sur de nombreuses visites et peut être facilement brouillé. L'escalade prend 5 à 15 minutes (selon votre expérience) et la vue qu'elle offre sur les environs est incroyable

We had an amazing 5-hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum with Mohammed, and it was truly unforgettable. Mohammed is an excellent guide — very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the desert. He made us feel welcome from the first moment and shared so many interesting stories about Wadi Rum, Bedouin life, and the history of the area. The beauty of the desert is beyond words. The landscapes, the colors, the silence, and the vast open space are absolutely breathtaking. Every stop felt like a postcard, and Mohammed knew the best spots for photos and peaceful moments. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time in Wadi Rum. Five hours was not enough to fully enjoy this magical place. If I ever come back to Jordan, I will definitely stay longer and choose Mohammed again as my guide. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Wadi Rum — it was a highlight of our trip.
Awesome tour that I was the highlight of our trip to Jordan! This tour went to so many sites and as we neared the end, we were virtually alone at each site. The guide Mohammed had so many interesting fun facts and answers to any questions that we had about the area whether geography or history and also shared his own personal insights on things making the tour so much better. If you are considering booking a tour in Wadi Rum, this is definitely the one you should book!
This is a fantastic company for a tour in wadi rum! A local tour by the local people to understand local culture, history and religion. Mohammed was an incredible tour guide. Organised everything from where to meet him, what we'll be seeing and what time we'll be back. He took us to spots that fit our schedule. Got some great photos and all around. A wonderful experience! We saw lots of great places and did cool activities in the desert. I was 4 months pregnant and Mohammad gave very good advice on which offer to take, he drove very carefully and took great care of us. And also the night in the tent was awesome, the tents are cozy and the dinner was really tasty fresh und authentic. Highly recommended!

We did a two-hour tour with Mohammad, which was a great way to see a few highlights of Wadi Rum without a huge time commitment.
