We enjoyed about 3hrs exploring 4 different dumpling restaurants in the CBD of Melbourne, hidden away in spots we would never have found ourselves. Dave was our informative guide, giving a brief insight into historic sites of Melbourne as we travelled around the city. Who ever knew that the bee sculpture on the Eureka building had a very good reason to be there! Great to be in a small intimate group with all Victorians, rediscovering the delights of the our marvellous Melbourne.
Thank you for the fantastic review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring the Melbourne CBD's hidden gems with us. Finding those out-of-the-way, authentic dumpling spots is what we do best! Dave is indeed a wonderful guide, and we're so glad you appreciated his insights into Melbourne's quirky history, including the story behind the Eureka Tower bee sculpture. It's always a pleasure to host fellow Victorians and help you rediscover the delights of our marvellous city in a small, intimate group setting. We hope you'll join us for another culinary adventure soon!
A great evening. The dumplings were excellent so full of interesting and subtle flavours and Dave was a pleasant and informative guide. Found some great places to come back to. Not sure Supermarket frozen dumplings will satisfy after this!
Dave was a knowledgable and friendly guide and it was a great tour- well worth the cost to get to explore a variety of very different restaurants and taste some lovely food in the back lanes of Chinatown!
Dave our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and made sure we were aware of all food ingredients
Amazing time with Chev tasting a number of different dumplings, interspersed with interesting information about the resteraunts and Melbourne in general. The format of trying some dumplings then having a short walk between restaurants is wonderful and helps make room for more dumplings!
Excellent tour. Dumplings were outstanding as was our tour guide Chev. Tons of fun facts about MEL and well thought out stops
The Melbourne Dumpling Walking Tour, for which we had Chev as our guide, was nothing short of extraordinary. From meeting fellow dumpling appreciators, to learning about the history of Chinatown, as well as the stories behind each location, to of course the delicious dumplings themselves, was the perfect way to spend a cold Melbourne Wednesday night. Chev was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour, offered amazing insights into each restaurant and the types of dumplings they served. She also offered suggestions based on the tastes of the group, and kept conversations flowing allowing everyone to get to know each other better. I'd highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed. Especially with Chev as your tour guide, you'll be in good hands, as well as enjoy an array of amazingly delicious dumplings (seriously, some of these dumplings are heavenly). One of the best parts is discovering restaurants (both small and large) that you wouldn't otherwise visit! Definitely adding to the list of to-visit-again locations. Thanks Chev, and thanks Walk Melbourne Tours!!
Yes, you're in very good hands with Chev guiding you through Melbourne's delicious dumplings. We're glad you had fun.
Our tour guide Chev was very knowledgeable and took us to some really nice dumpling places. She introduced us to a variety of dumplings while introducing us to the history of these dumpling places in Melbourne. Had a really great night out.
It was such an odd but fascinating way to see Melbourne food culture. I learned a lot and we ate so much!!
Very fun little experience that shows you some of the best dumpling spots Melbourne has to offer. Our guide was knowledgeable and took care of everything from start to finish. The food was delicious and you got a wide variety of dumplings and restaurants to choose from. Loved every second of it
