Rudy and his team deserve the highest rating there is! My husband, our son and I were on our Italian holiday last May, and we booked our Rome tour with Rudy because he came very highly recommended by our friends. Throughout our holiday we were lucky to book wonderful tours in Venice, Florence and Tuscany. But hands down, this private tour was the best tour we ever had! Lorenzo picked us up on the dot, and kept us completely entertained with his knowledge of the city’s history, his humour, and with stories and inside info only a local (who loves his city) can give. We went around Rome seeing all the sites in Rudy’s very comfortable van, and we were amazed with Lorenzo’s driving in and out the small side streets. Because we scheduled to visit the Vatican on another day, Lorenzo instead brought us to the Catacombs and showed us the Appian way, which we truly appreciated, together with his narration of Rome’s history. Upon our request, he took us to a place frequented by locals for lunch. We truly had an amazing day and we had a deeper appreciation of Rome’s history at the end of the tour. We also considered booking a day trip to Pompeii via Sorento and Positano but unfortunately we had no free days left. We will definitely book this on our next trip! We have toured Italy with Rudy many times including Rome, Tuscany, and the Amalfi. Rudy's knowledge of Rome exceeds all expectations. His Rome tour is off the charts good and you will see and understand Rome in one day, including a great recommendation for Lunch at an amazing "Locals" only restaurant. If you want a real treat book him for the Private tour of Rome. Noting but 5 stars every time. You won't be disappointed.

We had an awesome experience with Rudy's Touring Service. We did the golf cart tour of Rome. It was awesome because we hit all of the major sites with a guided tour by Lorenzo in only three hours. We stopped for about 15 minutes at each site and he took us through the parts of Rome you could only see on this type of tour. It was an awesome experience.

My husband and I used Rudy's Touring Service to tour Rome, the Vatican, Amalfi Coast (Pompeii, Positano, Sorrento), and Capri. Every one of Rudy's tour guides were very professional and knowledgeable of each area we toured. It helped that each guide and driver spoke fluent English. The guides were all over-the-top nice and accommodating for whatever we needed or wanted to do. They were all very punctual and open about what we were doing next. The vans were all very nice and clean with air conditioning. This service is the only way to tour Italy. Rudy was so easy to work with when planning our trip. We have been using Rudy’s Touring Service since 2012. Rudy and all his employees are amazing. Professional, respectful and so knowledgeable. From the history lessons at each stop and little tidbits he taught us we wouldn’t use anyone else. Whenever we are in Rome we always use Rudy. Whether it’s a trip to Florence, Tuscany, Naples and The Amalfi Coast Rudy does not disappoint.

My family and I visited Rome in late May early June and we used Rudy's service for airport pickup and a day tour guide as well as a day guide to Tuscany and Lucca. Rudy was excellent! He was super engaging and kept my boys, ages 10 and 13 entertained! We learned a lot from him about the various sights and spent a very pleasant day with him. Rudy's Tuscan guide Danny was wonderful! We really enjoyed our day with him visiting termal baths, an authentic Tuscan lunch and bike riding the ancient walls of Lucca. I would absolutely recommend Rudy's company as they are reliable, safe and excellent guides.

We arrived in Rome to be picked up at the airport and taken to our hotel. Driver was waiting on us. Based on Rudy's recommendation we rested and to then we explored a bit. We toured Rome and had a fantastic lunch set up by our driver. We utilized Rudy at all the ports in Italy as we took a cruise out of Rome. Every tour was above and beyond our expectations. Drivers were extremely knowledgeable and every suggestions Rudy made were in our best interest. I highly recommend Rudy for for travel needs. He accommodated every request and if I could give 10 I would. Will recommend to all my family and friends. Rudy gives you that extra personal touch...

Lorenzo met us at the airport and we did a Quick half day Tour. Lorenzo hit ALL the high spots and gave interesting commentary as we drove the side streets around Rome... Highly Recommend Rudy's Touring.. Wish we had more time for a full day trip. THANK YOU LORENZO

Rudy is an excellent guide. I have used his services numerous times over the last 14 years. Half day tours of Rome, transfers to and from airports, transfers between Rome and Sorrento with side trips along the way, day trips to Abruzzo for family visits, he can fulfill just about any travel requests you may have. On our trip in September we took the half day Golf Cart Tour of Rome. If you are up for a more adventurous tour, I highly recommended it, we had an absolute blast. You get to zip through the little side streets of Rome and avoid most of the congestion. Rudy took us to all the major sites in the old city, as well as one of the best gelato shops in Rome. You won’t be disappointed. Lorenzo was our driver/interpreter for our day trip to Abruzzo. Lorenzo picked us up at our hotel in Rome and we visited Sulmona, Pescocostonzo, and Ateleta, before returning to our hotel. Lorenzo kept the drive entertaining with his stories of Italy and it was great to have him as interpreter in the small towns. We planned the entire itinerary for the day trip. We also used Rudy’s services for our transfer from Rome to Sorrento. It included a stop at Herculaneum for a couple of hours. Manny, our driver, was very accommodating and pleasant to be with and he patiently waited while we toured the site. I have found all of Rudy’s drivers to be very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. The vehicles are always clean, comfortable and well maintained. The cost of his services have always been competitive with other companies.

My family of 7 enjoyed 2 tours with Rudy’s Touring Services. Both were highly full filling and so fun. The first tour in Florence was hosted by Guido, the King of Florence! He met us in the cruise terminal in La Spezia where our cruise ship docked. There are 7 of us and the van was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. More importantly Guido was full of entertaining stories and his love for history and his beloved Florence is so evident, even the younger kids enjoyed him. He was very helpful in arranging an amazing lunch (Ristorante Natalino) and procuring tickets to the Academia Museum when i had forgotten to order tickets. We were so lucky to have his connections to the museum. Our time is very short but he optimized it by showing us many beautiful sites. Rome with Christiano was another fantastic tour guide for our stop in Rome. He met my family at the Civitavecchia port and drove the 1hr to Rome sharing about the day in the life and the massive history of this amazing city. He was very professional and very kind to my children. My 11 year old had a cold sore and he was very helpful in obtaining some medicine for her while we had lunch so that our tour time would not be interrupted. Our stop included the Vatican and Rudy’s Tour services includes a private tour guide. Laura tailored the tour to accommodate our limited time and highlighted interesting facts that was entertaining for even my 11 year old. She was very kind and we enjoyed her tour very much. The highlights of this whole trip was the knowledge of these tour guides - they knew every short cut around the city, where to park, drop us off, met us with minimal walking, fabulous resturant choices and genuine desire for my family to have a fabulous non-stress time in their beautiful city. The master of all is Rudy who was quick to respond and very reassuring that all tours were confirmed and told me exactly what was happening. Thank you Rudy!
