Des palais historiques, des hammams, des mosquées et des madrassas (écoles pour l'étude du Coran) sont dispersés partout, beaucoup sont richement décorés de carreaux, de stuc sculpté et de colonnes de marbre.

It was a delightful day - (I was the only one on the tour which was ok). It is definitely a long day if you are taking this tour from Sousse but the sights that I was able to see made it worth it. My guide BouBou was knowledgeable and friendly and went the extra mile to make sure I had a positive experience. It was my first time in Tunisia and this tour made me want to return. The Bardo Museum was EXCELLENT - I enjoyed it very much. Carthage was ok (but the trails that allowed you to wander among the ruins were all blocked off which was a bit of a disappointment - not sure of the reason for it). But nevertheless it was still interesting. Sidi Bou Said was beautiful - reminded me a lot of Santorini with many quaint little shops. It wss the first day of Ramadan (which I had not realized when I booked the trip) and while it did not impact my tour - I had a nice lunch at the restaurant - nevertheless I would suggest those planning to trip to Tunisia perhaps if at all possible try to work around the Ramadan fasting month.

This is a perfect...

This is a perfect combination of tours to explore Tunisia. The Bardo Museum surprised me a lot with exceptional mosaics and beautiful interiors. I recommend drinking coffee here. The guide is a professional one, capable of answering all your questions. The car was comfy. There was not enough time in Sidi Bou Said; 45 minutes is too short. The village itself is beautiful, inspiring to rest in a coffee place or shop for souvenirs.

A day of history, culture and unique views

We spent a wonderful day visiting the Medina of Tunis, Sidi Bou Said and Carthage. The climate was warm but pleasant, made even more pleasant by the presence of our guide Issam, a competent person, prepared and very determined in the movements, a quality that allowed us to optimize the times. We talked to him about everything in Italian, but the guide is also recommended for those who prefer French or English, as Issam speaks naturally in both languages. His knowledge of local history and traditions enriched every stage of the route, transforming a simple excursion into an authentic journey into Tunisian culture. Highly recommended for those who want to live a complete experience, well organized and full of charm.

Private tour.

Our guide was called Selim and he was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. We were taken to an Tunisian restaurant for lunch which was for a traditional lunch, it was very interesting and nice but it was being hosted by Selim that made it into an interesting and informative event. We all enjoyed the whole day and the history of the places we visited. Would highly recommend.

Great Educational Experience

The company was very responsive to my emails & told me exactly what to expect & where to meet. The tour guide, "Shelty" was both efficient & very known.

Solo no stress exploration

My original plan was to hire a car but realised too late I needed an international driving licence. My main aim was spending extra time at Carthage and checking out on this tour, was offered an English speaking driver only option which was perfect. Khemais picked me up from Sousse and a couple of hours later were ticking off my Carthage wish list. Khemais knew the best sequence and good places to photograph the Punic port etc. Dropped off at the entrance, I could explore at my own pace and would be there when I came out of the exit. Extra add ons like the Aqueduct and American Cemetery were not an issue. A visit to Sidi Bou Said was made easy with an agreed pick up point plus shaping my own itinerary meant I could spend a little longer at the Bardo museum. I sure the tour is a good taster if the original itinerary is followed but for someone like me with a bias to history. This option was ideal. I’m glad I didn’t hire a car, driving around Tunis would have stresses me out!

Northern Tunisia

Beautiful discovery of northern Tunisia with a driver and guide just for us. The Bardo Museum is absolutely sensational! Best preserved mosaics and superb sculptures, all in a very rich environment. The medina of Tunis and its souks are pleasant but without much originality. Carthage on the other hand is to be seen absolutely for who loves antiquity. The Phoenician ruins join the Roman ruins and plunge us into the heart of the city's history. Sidi Bou Said, a real gem on top of a hill, is worth a visit. We loved walking among the blue and white houses and the small shops all more beautiful than the last. Our driver picked us up in Sousse in the morning then waited for us throughout the day to lead us from one place to another without fatigue before returning us to safe port in the evening, a big thank you to him. Our guide made us discover this part of the country with great kindness. He was a real culture well and we spent a very nice day with him.
