En une journée, vous pourrez découvrir la ville de Malindi, avec ses marchés, la vie trépidante africaine. Traversez ensuite le pont et plongez dans le calme de l'île Robinson et laissez-vous bercer par le bruit de la mer. Terminez la journée par un voyage à Marafa où Hell's Kitchen est la cuisine du diable, car il fait chaud pendant la journée. Vous serez fasciné par l'histoire de la légende de la création de Marafa, en explorant ses gorges à pied. Vous terminerez la journée en admirant un magnifique coucher de soleil.

Traversée des plus grandes marais salants du Kenya, pour atteindre le point de rencontre avec Charon, qui vous emmènera, en canoë, à l'île Robinson, où vous pourrez déjeuner sur de grandes tables en bois de mangrove
On ne trouve rien de semblable dans toute l'Afrique. C'est un grand canyon, formé au Pliocène, entouré de très hautes parois verticales avec des flèches rougeâtres et des piliers en pierre qui atteignent même 30 mètres de hauteur. Hell's Kitchen, qui est communément appelé Nyari par les habitants, (l'endroit qui se brise) était à l'origine un endroit en grès. C'est principalement l'érosion de la pluie et du vent au cours des millénaires qui l'a transformé en canyon surréaliste: un miracle unique de la nature, même selon plusieurs des géologues les plus autorisés de la planète. Visite à pied à l'intérieur du canyon. Le meilleur moment pour le visiter est vers le coucher du soleil, les rochers prennent différentes couleurs allant du blanc, du rose, de l'orange au rouge.

We did this tour with Giovanni , and also the 2 day East Tsavo safari. We already knew Giovanni because 12 years ago we went on safari with him and we had a great time! Leaving Watamu early, we quickly pass Malindi, skirting the salt flats, then we cross a mangrove (by boat or on foot if the water is not too high), and we arrive on a large white beach, alone at world ! or almost because next to it there is a small hut under the trees, with hammocks and mattresses as you wish, which prepares you a good lunch of local fish and shellfish, very nice! Little nap lulled by the waves and we leave for the Marafa canyon, where we emerge on another planet, the devil's kitchen with all its spices, in a painting where ochres, greens and the blue of the sky mingle, magnificent ! The sunset is divine!
Very well organized excursion in terms of times and distances, Giovanni accompanied us throughout the day with professionalism and kindness, together with a driver, telling us how daily life goes, taking us for a walk in the Malindi market, meeting those who live in the Shamba villages. We met the gazes of many people, all welcoming and kind, and many children who gave us smiles and a joy, a desire for life, which we will hardly forget. We then visited the Akamba wood factory, where artisans build objects using traditional methods, we had lunch with excellent food on Robinson Island, and ended with a visit to the Hell's Kitchen canyon in Marafa. Trust Giovanni, he is serious, honest, reliable and kind. Tip: don't forget to bring with you clothing, school supplies, food and anything you think might be useful for children, but also for adults... they really need it.
Wonderful trip! Giovanni is a truly kind and helpful person. He managed to satisfy us with every request and made our day special! The guys who take you on the boat are very knowledgeable, friendly and know how to make you have fun while still leaving you time to relax. The food was the best I have eaten in Kenya, very fresh fish and lots of lobsters. Eating in the middle of the sea on the boat and then diving into the crystal clear sea of Jacaranda Beach (Sardinia 2) is an unforgettable experience. I recommend 100%
