This is an absolute must do experience if you are fond of good wine. Julia was our guide and the day was wonderful. Fantastic communication after making the booking, collected right from our Villa and just us and one other couple on the tour (tours are deliberately kept to small numbers) All made for a personal and informative experience. Superb lunch included and access to toilet facilities. Highly recommend and many thanks Julia ♥️
Excellent experience - fantastic/knowledgeable guide and really nice wines to try in a wonderful setting.
This is one of the best wine tasting tours I have been on. With Julia as our guide it was truly authentic and very informative. The food provided alongside the wine at the family home was delicious and we got to try lots of different wines. We learnt lots about how wine making and olive growing works in Kefalonia. Can’t recommend the tour highly enough.
Wow, absolutely amazing tour. Julia was very friendly and very knowledgable. The visit to her family home was great, and lunch was delicious. Then we went on to wine taste…absolutely fabulous Would highly recommend and will definitely do again next time we are back in Kefalonia 🇬🇷
We loved it!! Julia is amazing and we had so much fun. And of course great wines.
Julia was kind and generous with her time. She made arrangements to have a car seat for our baby which was not expected, but greatly appreciated. We got to sample some of the amazing olive oil and Robola wine (in addition to many others kinds of wine at Orealis winery). The tour was very insightful. Would definitely recommend.
First time on a wine tasting experience. The host was great, not only did she explain the sequences of good wine and olive oil making she broadened our understanding with history of the area and her family ties with the farming industry, right down to working closely with the cooperative wine teams. You guessed, our host was the farmer, and she was wonderful. Her knowledge of subject was outstanding. We visited the vines, learned about the pollination process, so interesting. What a fabulous host. Only 6 persons in the group on the tour. Felt very comfortable right from the pick up. We then went to her parents home for a light snack, wine and some further history of the wine and olive processes that her family still maintain to keep the older traditions alive for her family. Following that we headed to the cooperative wine producer where we tested 8 wines and were given a running and very interesting commentary as we were enjoying the tastes and delights of it all. If your thinking about a wine tasting tour in Kefalonia this has to be the one..Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for a great day out and a wonderful tour.
Julia was amazing and the tour itself was wonderful. The host was incredibly knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions. Light lunch was delicious and oil was so good we had to get some for ourselves! Winery was incredibly beautiful with the plethora of 8 wines hitting the spot. Julia was so friendly and accommodating throughout. Incredibly convenient, well paced and interesting tour.
The tour with Julia was a highlight of our time in Kefalonia. Julia was a great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Julia’s vineyards and the wine tasting. We highly recommend this tour
My husband and I had a fantastic afternoon learning about the wine region and farming in Kafelonia. Julia our guide was exceptional, punctual pick up and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the tour through her family's vineyard and hearing the history. We had a yummy "Greek snack" at her parents place followed by wine tasting at a nearby winery. The wines were delicious and unique to what we have tried previously. The vineyard view was also very pretty. This experience was a highlight of our trip! Thank you Julia!
