Construit par l'empereur Akbar en 1565 après JC, cet immense fort est fait de grès rouge. Les élégants bâtiments à l'intérieur reflètent une synthèse intéressante des styles architecturaux hindous et asiatiques centraux. Le labyrinthe des cours, des mosquées et des chambres privées du fort rappelle l'histoire de l'empire moghol. La Moti Masjid et d’autres bâtiments magnifiques reflètent le savoir-faire des anciens architectes indiens. Après le déjeuner, route pour Fatehpur Sikri.
Ancienne capitale, cette mini-ville située à 37 km d'Agra est faite de grès rouge et allie des influences d'architecture hindoue et moghole. Cette structure abrite également le Dargah de Salim-Chishti. On croit qu'en offrant des prières à ce Mazar, tout ce que l'on souhaite sera définitivement réalisé par la volonté de Salim Chisti lui-même.
Une fois votre visite touristique terminée, vous pourrez faire du shopping à Agra. Vous voudrez peut-être faire du shopping à Agra est connue pour son artisanat fabuleux, fait de marbre et de marqueterie de pierre tendre. Les Moghols étaient de grands mécènes d'art et d'artisanat. Very straight forward booking process. Raj our guide was absolutely amazing. His knowledge, sense of humour and photography skills were first class. Raj looked after me when I had a very minor health issue. We felt so well looked after. Devinda, our driver was also excellent and stored water and treats for us. We felt very safe in his care. Lunch was lovely too. We would very much recommend this tour operator and Raj.

As part of our holiday we arrived in agra and were accompanied to Agra fort, the Awesome Taj Mahal and Fatephur Sikri. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.
