Firstly, lack of communication. We had booked for 9:30. I received a text that same morning at 8:06, informing me that they would pick us up at 8:30! What is sold as a private tour is not private at all; there are 12 people in total. I don't believe we really went into the desert, only the mountains. The camel ride, eyes closed, is already over. A lot of cars, or I would have appreciated more information from our guide, knowing where we are and what we see outside, as well as some history or culture. I give it 2 stars because at least the price was good.
Didn’t turn up didn’t phone is just left in limbo wasted a day of a very expensive holiday No numbers to call that answer calls , trip advisor chat not responding total waste of a days holiday
Never turned up. No communication Now got to try and sort a refund
Do not book with this company! We have been waiting for over 1 hr, with no response. We messaged yesterday as well to get more info about our tour today and nothing. Viator tried to contact them as well but they can not be contacted. Now have to wait 72 hrs for a refund and out last day has been wasted.
Full day with a lot of sights and enjoyable! While the title is misleading (you don’t go to the Agafay Desert at all) you get to see multiple valleys and hike to Imlil Waterfall. We also rode a camel (short 20 minutes away from an encampment and then back in another valley) in traditional clothing. Aziz was a great driver and RJ was a wonderful tour guide consistently offering to take photos and was helpful when one of the women on the tour had a baby with her. There’s a lunch option that cost additional money and there were people selling bracelets at almost each stop. Do this tour if you want to see a different side of Morocco and see how argan oil is made!
Everything was as expected. Lahcen was a brilliant guide, Saaid was a fantastic driver and we had a wonderful day. The hike was EXACTLY 90 minutes and not too taxing at all. It was a wonderful day and I’d do it again if we had more time!
We had the privilege of embarking on a guided tour of the breathtaking Atlas Mountains today, and it was an unforgettable experience, all thanks to Driss. From start to finish, Driss provided exceptional hospitality and catering, ensuring every detail was thoughtfully arranged. His warm and attentive nature made us feel truly cared for throughout the journey. Driss's expertise and deep knowledge of the region enriched the experience immensely. He shared fascinating insights into the culture, landscapes, and history of the Atlas Mountains, all while making the tour incredibly engaging. Not only did he go above and beyond to personalise the adventure, but he also helped us capture precious memories by assisting us with photos—his kindness and dedication truly made a difference. If you’re looking for a guide who embodies professionalism, passion, and genuine care for his guests, I wholeheartedly recommend Driss. He transforms a great tour into an extraordinary one, leaving you with lasting memories and gratitude for his impeccable service
The full day trip was amazing, our tour guide called Redouane was very informative and speaks multiple languages (his English was very good). We started the day getting picked up from our hotel and travelled out to the Atlas Mountains. The excursion included camel rides, breakfast (free) and lunch (a small fee for the best chicken tagine), 3 different valleys, an hour and half hike and pick up/drop off at hotel. We also seen how argan oil and peanut butter was made which can also be bought at their shop too. The full trip was a very good price and my boyfriend and myself would highly recommend! Be sure to bring some cash with you as the lunch doesn’t take card and some shops don’t either
A pleasant day overall. Our guide and hosts were all kind and friendly, did everything to make us feel well. The area has a lot of beauty, so it's worth looking out the window during the drive!
We ended up having a good time but extremely unprofessional. I reached out to them to confirm my booking and the time and place they would be picking me up. No one responded until the morning of the pick up and that’s because I had to put a complaint in through Instagram TripAdvisor. They pick us up and during the tour at one of the stops they told me this isn’t the tour I booked and if I want to go on the correct tour. It seems they over booked my tour so they put me on a different tour not the Agafay Desert but 7 valleys. After I switched buses the tour guide told me that last minute 7 people canceled so there was room for my correct tour. I booked my tour months ago, this should have been handled correctly. I will no longer be booking through TripAdvisor.
