I was bringing elderly relatives to Krakow who were keen to visit Auschwitz, on researching reliable tours I was a bit worried to see many people experiencing cancelled tours or ridiculous early pick up times. I am so glad I booked with Krakvel Tours and Transfers, they were excellent. Our driver Norbert texted me before I had even left the UK, we were collected on time and Norbert was extremely friendly and helpful, telling me lots of information on places to visit in the city centre and pointing out a brilliant restaurant that we visited. We arrived at Auschwitz and was introduced to our guide by our driver. We were taken to the camps in a lovely comfortable and clean vehicle and the whole visit ran on time and was well organised. I can highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again
Not a must-see but interesting. The mirror room and the horror floor are ideal for children.
Good value as a family, great location, suitable for 12+ in my opinion. There is kitschness aplenty, and is a great way to spend 30/40 minutes. Might be more of a challenge on a busy day, as it’s in a tower with fairly narrow passageways, but we went at a quiet time and it was easy to move around at our own pace.
Wax Museum with many wax figures. Some were good and others were funny because they were so far away from how the person looks. They also have their own horror floor at the top and good views of the city. Recommended if you are in Gdansk.
This is well overpriced, and is all over very quickly. Think we paid about £25 for two tickets, and we were round it all in less than 30 minutes, without rushing in any way. Waxworks range from half decent to ridiculously bad, and the haunted house isn’t great either. Would recommend if it was a quarter of the price for a laugh, but couldn’t justify paying what it is to anyone.

Some of the wax works were really good, others were miles off the person and some were just creepy (and I’m not speaking about the horror ones)
From the outside this tower looked exciting, so we went in with maybe too high expectations. There were a few wax figures of famous people that resembled the original characters. The top floors should be horror and horror. Maybe exciting for kids.
Waste of money ! Wax figures are of extremely poor quality and the entrance fee is overpriced for the experience which wasn't good at all. It's very short, we were in and out in 15 minutes. Also, the girl at the counter wasn't friendly and didn't explain anything to us re exiting. Once you reach the end of experience on the top floor you have to go back through it all again to exit. I feel there should of been an separate exit at the end of the experience as we weren't sure how to exit and it wasn't explained to us

We visited the Tower of Secrets on December 6th, 2025. The price felt a bit high, but it was still fun to walk around and see the different wax figures, even if they weren’t very realistic. The haunted house was also nice, and I can imagine that it will become really good over time. However, I still wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone, and that is solely because of the girl who sold the tickets. She was the most arrogant person we met on our trip. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel welcome at all and felt more like an inconvenience. When we left, we said goodbye three times, and she didn’t acknowledge us at all—she was too busy on her phone
