Al Ain is a quiet, charming and beautiful town near the border to Oman. It is nicknamed The Garden City due to vast amounts of flowers, bushes, trees ... The town houses the largest oasis in the UAE, several historic forts and thousands of date palm trees. The water irrigation system of the oasis is an UNESCO world heritage site. I strongly recommend this trip if you need a break from the artificial atmosphere, the high risers and the traffic jams of Dubai.
This was a very good tour. Our guide, Sonia and our driver, Yasser, were both very professional yet friendly. Sonia was well informed and gave very good presentations about the background and history of the places we visited. The high light was the camel market which was unique and very authentic. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see more of the history of UAE.
our tour guide was excellent and very accomodating. Made all efforts to ensure the day was fulfilling
Although our guide and driver were great, and our guide was very knowledgeable and a great help with a banking issue, there isn’t an awful lot to see in Al Ain. However, It was really interesting to see the camel market (apparently they are bought for food) and a ride up the mountain- the town/city itself was good, there wasn’t an awful lot to see or do.
I really recommend this tour because you can experience precious oasis, Al Jahill Fort, Camel Market, and Mt. Hafeet where you can enjoy the amazing panoramic views! Especially, Mr.Usman, our driver told me the history of Arabic world as well as UAE and latest informations of sightseeing spot! I definitely come back to Dubai and will book tours again!
Very good tour and excellent guide. Lots of focus on the country's history and culture. I enjoyed the very authentic camel market.
Great day trip to Al Ain the oasis inland city with old castles and museum as well as a palm grove. Very different and well worth the day trip. I ended up being the only one on this trip but would recommend this as part of any itinerary in the UAE whether Dubai or Abu Dhabi
I had an excellent day out visiting the city of Al Ain and the mountain of Jabal Hafeet. This tour was a great way to get beyond the bubble of Dubai and explore more of the UAE countryside. Al Ain was a very interesting city. I enjoyed the Fort, Palace Museum. The Oasis complex is huge and well worth wandering around. My highlight was the drive up Jabal Hafeet and the views from the top. Spectacular landscape and journey.
Fantastic full-day experience with Bilal from the Navita tours operator. Bilal is a very kind and exquisite person. He showed us around Al Ain in all its beauty. We went to the national museum, the oasis, the camel market, the zoo and finally to Jebel Hafeet mountain at sunset with a breathtaking view. Bilal was always helpful and sociable with us. My wife and I had a fantastic day. Thank you very much Bilal for being with us. 5 stars plus L
We had a great day trip to Al Ain with our guide Durgesh. We were the only people on the tour so had the comfort of a SUV and guide all to ourselves. First stop was to taste camels milk and then onto the camel race track. These were just quick stops but the 3rd stop at the date farm was very interesting. We tried a few varieties of dates thanks to Durgesh. The visit to the National Museum and Shiek Zahedan Palace were both very interesting and worthwhile. Durgesh took us to the mall where we had lunch and some free time before heading up the Jabel Hafeet mountain - something not to be missed. All up a very interesting day and well looked after by Durgesh.
