Tour de Santiago à Ribeira Sacra avec bateau
Description
Lors de cette excursion, nous irons dans la province d'Ourense pour visiter un endroit très spécial, connu sous le nom de Ribeira Sacra. Berceau de l'art religieux médiéval dans cette province, et de la gastronomie, c'est au moyen et à l'âge moderne qu'elle connut son âge d'or. Un reflet de cette époque est la nombreuse architecture religieuse qu'elle possède, comme le monastère de Santo Estevo ou San Pedro de Rocas, tous deux d'une grande beauté. Ses paysages naturels, avec de vastes étendues de chênaies, nous plongent dans un environnement qui nous fait voyager dans le temps. Sans oublier que cette zone est célèbre pour être le domaine de l'une des dénominations d'origine les plus célèbres d'Espagne, celle de Riveiro. Le tout à seulement quelques heures de la ville de Santiago.

Au prochain arrêt, nous entrerons dans la Ribeira Sacra pour une intéressante promenade en catamaran. Depuis notre bateau, nous pourrons observer ce que l'on appelle la «viticulture héroïque», qui doit son nom à la pente des vignobles de Ribeiro qui entourent le col du Sil. Ici est inclus le temps qu'il faudra pour se déplacer d'un endroit à un autre
En suivant le Sil, nous avancerons vers l'un des points de vue les plus incroyables de la région à partir duquel nous pourrons profiter de vues spectaculaires. Ici est inclus le temps qu'il faudra pour se déplacer d'un endroit à un autre
Nous visiterons le monastère de San Pedro de Rocas où vous pourrez visiter les tombes anthropomorphes, la façade de l'église du XIXe siècle, son clocher et la fontaine de San Benito
Vous visiterez la ville d'Allariz, l'une des villes les plus charmantes de Galice. Grâce à une visite guidée, vous pourrez découvrir l'histoire de cette ville et ses légendes.

Le premier point de prise en charge se situe à notre agence Galicia Travels à 7h80. Le deuxième point de ramassage se trouve à l'église du pilier à 8h00. Le dernier passage est effectué par l'ancien pèlerin à 08h05.

A tour of the river Sil, very beautiful in nature and the sea, vineyards, I liked it very much, recommended. But in a town in the area like Allariz
The tour guide was very good but the tour was not what I expected. The boat on the Sil river did not show all the vineyards planted from the top of the mountain down to river,the boat did not continue. The mirador was not that great and two tours arrived at same time leaving little time to take pictures The lunch stop was terrible. We got to a town at 3 pm which all restaurants were closed and only one was recommended by guide. It was a horrible one. The monastery was nothing great they should have taken people to the St Estero which is a beautiful one and had given option to have lunch at the parador which would have been better or just skip lunch and get back to Santiago earlier. Also ship should have stopped or bus taken group to a vineyard which was not done. Maybe skip lunch and do wine tasting at vineyard Very disappointed since the area is spectacular. Copy what the Portuguese do in Porto on the Douro cruise

Beautiful scenery the canyons amazing. Ana our tour guide was excellent very good explanation in English. Driver excellent too. My third trip with Galicia Travels, highly recommended.

Fantastic viewpoints of the canyon. Several stopping points where you can enjoy the excellent view. The best, surrounded by vineyards
