Description
Chaque région de l’Inde a sa cuisine de rue unique et Delhi ne fait pas exception. Visitez nos vendeurs préférés dans le vieux Delhi et essayez les spécialités locales chole bature, dahi bhalla et aloo chat, ainsi que les parathas, les lassi et les jalebis très sucrés mais délicieux et l'équivalent local du riz au lait et du pudding au pain et au beurre. Tous ces plats sont végétariens, mais les mangeurs de viande auront la possibilité d'essayer le poulet frit indien dans le quartier animé de Matia Mahal vers la fin de la visite. En plus de goûter au meilleur de la cuisine de rue du vieux Delhi, nous ferons également du tourisme en explorant le plus grand marché aux épices d'Asie, en nous promenant le long de Chandni Chowk et en nous arrêtant pour admirer l'imposante Jama Masjid. Nous absorberons l'agitation des rues étroites en visitant différents endroits en pousse-pousse. **Veuillez noter que le marché aux épices a beaucoup moins d'activité le dimanche. Pour la visite de 13h00, il y a environ 50% d'activité en moins et pour la visite de 17h00, elle est fermée.

La visite commencera à la porte 1, de la station de métro Rajiv Chowk à Connaught Place.
Les clients ont l'occasion de goûter au dahi bhalla (une collation traditionnelle à base de yaourt), à l'aloo chaat, au paratha et au jalebi qui donnent une excellente représentation des nombreuses saveurs uniques de la cuisine indienne.
Visitez le plus grand marché aux épices d'Asie et goûtez au chole bhature (un plat traditionnel punjabi)
Admirez la mosquée Jama, le cœur de l'islam à Delhi, de l'extérieur, et dégustez du poulet mariné. Terminez la visite avec de délicieux desserts fabriqués localement comme le kheer (riz au lait indien) et le shahi tukda (pain imbibé de lait et de noix, comme le pouding au pain). S'il vous reste de la place dans l'estomac, vous pouvez laver tout cela avec du lassi rafraîchissant.

The food tour in Old Delhi was perfectly organized, with stops at some excellent places, and the food was outstanding. Naresh, my guide, was exceptional — his knowledge and kindness go hand in hand! The food was great, the atmosphere was quite unique and our guide, Naresh, was fantastic! He was full of information about not only the food but the area as well. Would definitely recommend for the unique experience and delicious food.
