Le tour à vélo de la Route de la Mort est tout simplement la meilleure option pour une journée complète d'aventure et d'adrénaline dans l'un des endroits les plus impressionnants de Bolivie, "El camino de la muerte".

Départ de l’hôtel à 7 h 00 et départ pour le sommet de La Paz situé à 3 600 mètres d’altitude, au pied de la Cordillère royale des Andes, sur le chemin où vous pourrez voir la flore et faune du désert des hauts plateaux et des montagnes enneigées de la Cordillère Royale. 09:00 test de l'équipement et explication des guides d'utilisation du matériel, rafraîchissement à chaud. Nous commençons l'aventure en vélo, la première partie est en asphalte avec un climat froid jusqu'à ce que vous atteigniez la ville d'Unduavi (Contrôle antinarcotique et contrôle uniquement des transports motorisés) repos et rafraîchissements. 10h30 Le chemin de terre commence à 2 700 mètres d'altitude, un lieu subtropical. Nous entrons dans la jungle bolivienne par la route la plus dangereuse du monde, appelée la route de la mort. Une vue incroyable sur le chemin de terre, lors de la descente, il traverse ruisseaux, cascades, à côté de la grande diversité de flore et de faune que le lieu nous présente. À midi, les passagers auront le temps de se reposer et de se rafraîchir. 13h45 Arrivée sur le pont, un endroit au climat chaud et à la fin de l’aventure à vélo à une altitude de 1 200 mètres (3 940 pieds). Plus tard, transfert à l’hôtel DOS RIOS, à 35 minutes de Coroico, pour profiter des douches, du déjeuner et du temps libre pour profiter du climat au bord de la piscine, etc. 16h30 Retour à La Paz par la nouvelle autoroute Santa Barbara Cotapata. I had an amazing trip on the Yungas trail with Eloy and Luis. I couldn’t believe the diversity of scenery we enjoyed from the Andes to the selva! Truly, truly fantastic. Must do while in La Paz, especially with Eloy!

My wife and I had an amazing day riding Bolivia's famous Death Road with Altitude Travel! From the very beginning, everything was organized and professional. We were picked up early from our hotel and driven up to nearly 15,000 feet, where we enjoyed breakfast and got geared up for the ride. The bikes and equipment were first-rate and well maintained. We started on the paved section, reaching speeds of up to 36 mph before transitioning onto the gravel sections of the Death Road. Our guide, Eloy, was outstanding. He shared fascinating information about the road, the surrounding area, and its history throughout the day. The pace was perfect for both my wife and me, with plenty of stops for breaks, photos, and to take in the scenery. One of the best parts was that Eloy took tons of photos and videos, allowing us to focus on enjoying the ride and the breathtaking views instead of worrying about capturing the moment. Luis, our driver, did a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly and safely throughout the trip. The beautiful resort at the end of the ride was the perfect place to relax, and the lunch was delicious. Riding Death Road had been on my bucket list for years, and Altitude Travel made the experience absolutely perfect. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Bolivia!
