Tripoli: Quarante-cinq bâtiments de la ville, dont beaucoup datent du XIVe siècle, ont été inscrits au patrimoine historique. Les souks, avec les «khans», forment une agglomération de divers métiers où tailleurs, bijoutiers, parfumeurs, tanneurs et savonniers travaillent dans des environnements qui ont très peu changé au cours des 500 dernières années.
Byblos: une ville moderne prospère au cœur ancien, Byblos est un mélange de sophistication et de tradition. Le vieux port est abrité de la mer par un promontoire rocheux. A proximité se trouvent les vestiges de la ville antique, le château et l'église des Croisés et le vieux marché.

Roaming around the laid-back seaside neighborhood of El Mina is a must in Tripoli. The El Mina quarter juts out into the sea and is defined by its relaxed and quaint atmosphere. Buildings are old and beautiful, and there is a tenable small town feeling, complete with colorful houses, local churches, and charming back-alleys.

The tour was customised to Tripoli and Batroun, and Fadil was very flexible and accommodating. Batroun and Tripoli both hsve souks. I found Tripoli's more interesting with much to look at. The castle also has a great city view. Wish there was more time to explore the souks but overall a good experience.
