Le glacier Matanuska est l'une des premières destinations de l'Alaska. Avec 27 miles de long et 4 miles de large, c'est le plus grand glacier d'Alaska accessible par la route. Il possède également l'une des zones les plus accessibles pour marcher de tous les glaciers d'Alaska. Émerveillez-vous devant la glace qui s'est formée il y a des milliers d'années dans les montagnes Chugach.
Votre journée commencera par une magnifique route panoramique le long de l'autoroute Glenn avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et beaucoup de temps pour des arrêts photo. Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers le pied du glacier pour lever nos crampons de glace et commencer à explorer le glacier à pied. Chaque jour est unique en raison de la nature dynamique du glacier. Nous passons généralement deux heures et marchons trois milles sur la glace. Après avoir exploré le glacier, nous déjeunerons dans un restaurant local avec une vue imprenable sur le glacier et les paysages environnants. Chaque visite sera personnalisée en fonction des intérêts de votre groupe. C'est une occasion unique d'explorer la glace glaciaire!

Wonderful experience! Would definitely book this trip again! We saw beautiful glaciers, tool lots of pictures and rode a sleigh halfway to the glaciers. Unforgettable experience.

We were fortunate to have great weather. The guides got us to the destination ahead of other groups, allowing us to experience the area without interruption. The guides' geographical knowledge was key to our wonderful experience. We spent 2 plus hours on the glacier walking an easy 2.65 miles.

The view is fantastic. The guide, Diego, is nice and knowledgeable. The service is great. I have to add an extra person to the tour only a day before the trip, Rochelle moved quickly to make it happen. Strong recommendation.

Jason was a fun and knowledgeable guide. He answered all of our questions and taught us so much. The glacier was so beautiful and fascinating. I'd go back! They'll help if you don't have super warm gear. The staff were all wonderful and helpful.

We had a wonderful time with Adam and Diego. 1000% recommend. It was not too hard for someone slightly out of shape. The hike was 2.68 miles/9800 steps.

So glad I took this tour to hike Mantanuska Glacier with knowledgeable and well trained professionals. They kept our group safe while still providing for breathtaking panoramic and close up views of the glacier. Guides kept the hiking pace comfortable with plenty of time for photographs and glacier discussion. The meal after the hike was delicious and offered a choice of Alaska Delicacies. Fabulous experience.

My wife and I joined the Matanuska Glacier Winter Tour, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Alaska. After all, how many people can say they've actually hiked on a glacier? Our guide, Victoria, was excellent-friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She picked us up at our hotel right on time and, during the two-hour drive, patiently answered all of our questions about glaciers, wildlife, and Alaska. She also made sure we felt safe and comfortable during the hike. Walking on the glacier was an incredible experience. Lunch, water, and snacks were provided, and everything was very well organized. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we highly recommend this tour.

Great experience with knowledgeable tour guides, Victoria and Adam. I got the halibut sandwich for lunch, it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Onion rings were ok.
