A great day out!

Tom and Alexandro were absolutely brilliant! Tom was so knowledgeable and gave us lots of information. Alexandro drove the bus perfectly even though there were a few hairy moments with other drivers. Had an amazing day out!

A must if you want to really see Gran Canaria

Very good trip. Informative guide Eduardo and excellent driver Mario. You haven’t really seen Gran Canaria if you don’t travel inland and to the north. Spectacular scenery, so different from the south coast, and interesting towns. Would have liked longer in Arucas and Teror but still good tour. Good value compared to other similar tours.

Don't go on 6th of January!

Today (6th) January we went on a tour of the island, but in Arucas everything was closed (even the cathedral) because it is holiday, no people around, then we moved on to Teror, same again except for 3 gift shops. If you know it is not going to be a good day out you should either warn or cancel tour on this day.

Réponse de l'opérateur

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry that your visit to Arucas and Teror did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that January 6th is a public holiday and, in this case, we were not informed by the Cabildo or the local municipal authorities about the closure of the Cathedral of Arucas or other points of interest. Normally, even on public holidays, these sites remain open or operate with special opening hours, so this situation was unexpected. Had we received prior confirmation of these closures, we would have informed our guests in advance or adjusted the itinerary accordingly. Our priority is always to offer the best possible experience.

A great day 😁

All very well, the amazing views, lots of green, everything clean and well kept, the guide Yerai super friendly, gave all the information in the three languages, Spanish, German and English, self level of knowledge of the sites we have visited, the history of the island, plus recommendations of 10 where to eat and more... delighted with the confidence that has passed us all of the group, I have felt safe at all times, super recommended 👍

An excellent way to see the mountains of Gran Canaria

My wife, adult daughter and I had a really good day on this tour which highlighted another side of Gran Canaria. The guide and driver were excellent. We had good stops and the bus journey (other than the rather lengthy pick up process which I guess cannot be helped) was broken into manageable chunks. The stops were varied and interesting and were just long enough and the recommended lunch stop was good (both the recommended vegetable soup and fish tacos were great and at E15 pp good value). Overall an excellent day out.

Super recommended for those who want to see another side of the island, the contrasts of climate that exist in this and how these influence the landscapes you will see. The guide and driver very friendly!

The REAL Gran Canaria

Excellent guide (Tom) and driver (Alexander). Wherever we were he always had something interesting to tell us in addition to the obvious geographical / cultural stuff. As we're staying on the bland artificial south coast it was a real pleasure to visit real towns and villages, even if they were cold, cloudy and wet. Once we'd passed over the highest pass in dense cloud and emerged into brilliant sunshine, the landscape of deep, deep valleys and craggy lava fields was amazing. The late lunch stop for tapas was excellent value in a restaurant with a long view down the valley. The road trip down is not for the faint- hearted!

Some memorable highlights

Everything worked well. We’ve done quite a few day excursion bus trips around Europe and beyond, and this was up there with the very best. Only booked with two days to go, and clear this would be popular. Easy pickup around the corner from the hotel ( one of first to be picked up, and one of last to be dropped off - but overall experience made up for that!) and comfortable coach even though full. It was called the Highlights Tour. Highlights for us were: 1. Excellent guide and also driver ( on potentially hairy mountain roads). 2. Good itinerary taking in some towns of character, and breathtaking scenery. 3. Just the right amount of rest stops, with an optional great lunch of excellent value. 4. The weather was perfect! All in all delighted we chose the right tour. Would certainly recommend as a taster of what this beautiful Island has to offer apart from its resorts and beaches. A most enjoyable day. Neil MAKIN

Great full day tour of the Gran Canarian villages and vistas in the mountains of the north.

Well worth the price paid. The guide was very informative and the bus driver deserved a medal for driving around very severe bending narrow roads in the mountains with dramatic ravines below. Good stop off points and the lunch was excellent and very reasonable cost that included wine. Would recommend
