The option you booked was our small-group tour, whose description clearly states that entrance tickets are not included. Tickets are included only with the private-tour option, which was not the option selected for your reservation. Regarding lunch, guests are never required to eat at the restaurant we recommend, and the meal is not included in the tour price. We suggest this restaurant because it consistently provides the quality, service, and pricing we want for our guests. As this is a long tour covering three monuments with specific visiting schedules, efficient meal service is also important. Nevertheless, guests are always free to choose another nearby restaurant, provided that the group’s agreed departure time is respected. We regret if this was not communicated clearly enough during your tour. Our guides provide historical context for each destination and accompany guests inside the monuments, explaining the most significant areas. At the same time, we try to maintain a balance between detailed explanations and allowing guests time to observe, explore, and connect what they have learned with what they are seeing. Many of our guests specifically praise this approach, although we understand that you were expecting more continuous and in-depth commentary. We must also admit that this review came as a surprise to us. During the experience, no dissatisfaction or concern was communicated to the guide. On the contrary, you repeatedly said that you were enjoying the day and, at the end, generously thanked the guide for his service. For that reason, we find it difficult to reconcile the concerns expressed in this review with the feedback and appreciation shown throughout the tour. Had any of these concerns been raised during the day, our guide would have been happy to clarify the ticket conditions, explain the available lunch options, or adapt the level of historical commentary whenever possible. Nevertheless, we sincerely regret that the experience ultimately did not match your expectations.
