Atelier traditionnel Kintsugi de Tokyo dans l'art de réparation d'or d'Asakusa

Description

We did the kinsugi experience and April was our guide. She was wonderful! She was very attentive and helped us mend our bowls every step of thwart, making sure we all walked away with beautiful mended pottery. She also gave us a brief history of the practice in Japan and answered all our question. Thank you April!!
Excellent 90 mins spent on such a wonderful art form - kintsugi. Our guide April was the best - very patient throughout the workshop - guiding us step by step. I would highly recommend it. It a large studio but each table is intimate. Just arrive 10 mins early as the elevator can get crowded. But they give you ample time to finish it and it never felt rushed. Highly recommended.
It's fun for kintsugi experience! Betty is so kind and lovely!
Me and my mom went here on a rainy day and we had the best time! Our guide, Toma was very helpful and kind and he helped us even when we didn’t quite finish the bowl. Overall, a great, family friendly place to make bowls and plates. :)
Our instructor April was very helpful and patient through the process. She provided clear instructions and was very attentive to each person in the class! I’m so happy to bring a piece of Japan back home with a story to tell!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience bringing broken pottery back to life! Andy and April provided clear instructions and history behind the process. It was a very peaceful and fun activity!
We went with our family in a large group of 8 of adults and teenagers. Everyone enjoyed learning about the history of kintsugi and the instruction. The studio was neat and we also loved a way to get out of the heat and sit down for awhile after walking all day yesterday. Our teachers April and Hana were great instructors and very patient and helpful. And i love my cute little keepsake dish that i get to take home.
April and Hana were amazing! Very patient and helpful in guiding us through the process. April also told us all about the history of Kintsugi. Both of them were super nice! It took about 90min for our group to be done and everyone had a blast.
Shirin was awesome! We are very glad we came! We had a wonderful time!
A lovely experience if you’re looking to take a break from walking around Tokyo in the humidity — April was a lovely teach, and took us through everything with patience and care. I highly recommend this to start your morning off!
