If you’re visiting Tokyo, don’t miss the Samurai & Ninja Museum! We started with a guided tour of the museum, and our guide, Meg, was absolutely fantastic. Her energy, enthusiasm, and storytelling brought the history to life and made the tour engaging for both adults and kids. After the tour, we participated in the family-friendly Samurai & Ninja class with Ryo, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. It was interactive, exciting, and filled with laughter from start to finish. Ryo was an incredible instructor who made everyone feel comfortable while keeping the experience fun and memorable. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Whether you’re traveling with children or just looking for a unique cultural experience, I highly recommend it. We left with huge smiles, great memories, and a newfound appreciation for Japan’s samurai and ninja traditions!

Description
Dévotion, histoire et lignée inégalée Notre clan est la seule lignée survivante de samouraïs shinobi dont les ancêtres ont servi le Shogunat Tokugawa pendant 265 ans. Après 1868, nous avons continué à préserver indépendamment notre identité de shinobi. Tous les outils de formation sont fabriqués à la main au sein du clan. Nos ancêtres étaient des shinobi‐samouraïs qui formèrent les populations locales et escortèrent Tokugawa Ieyasu en 1582, marquant le début de notre histoire. Dans cette expérience de 90 minutes pour samouraïs et ninjas, vous suivez un flux traditionnel – rituel, technique, pratique pratique pratique et photos – tout en apprenant les principes fondamentaux du shinobi-samouraï. Votre séance est dirigée par le clan Musashi Daihyo de la 19e génération, qui fournit des services d’interprétation et d’explication culturelle en temps réel, appuyés par une vaste expérience d’enseignement internationale. Ce guide garantit une expérience enracinée dans une lignée authentique, une profondeur culturelle et l'atmosphère d'un vrai dojo. This was a wonderful and memorable experience - highly recommend. It was the perfect mix of history and hands-on experience. We learned so much and had a great time. We loved hearing about the clan history, the various weapons, dressing as a ninja, trying some skills out. The woman who owns the dojo (whose descended from a great samurai house) and the gentleman samurai and female scribe were great - so kind and knowledgeable.
This was such a highlight of our trip with our two kids (10 and 12). It was a pleasure to meet everyone at the dojo. Such an educational and unique experience. Our interpreter was so knowledgeable and was part of a long line of samurais. We loved this!
Our family loved this experience. In a cool part of Tokyo and learn from a real Samurai clan family. Learn about their history, touch and feel weapons, dress like a samurai and learn basic sword movements. Throw stars, blow darts and learn the ways of sneaking around like a ninja. Kids (12 and 14) loved it. So did parents.
This was one of our kids’ favorite things we’ve done in Japan. So interesting, educational, interactive and fun. It was a great experience for the whole family, even spectators; I would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing experience! Highly recommend! This is not a play fighting sword touristy experience. You learn about the ninja life, tools they use and how to use them. The master and his assistant were great. She translated everything in English even though the master spoke English just fine. Definitely use Google maps to find the location and go up the stairs. There are lots of knife shops in the area so plan extra time to shop if you are looking for knives. Also they have later experience times which is a plus. We had ours at 6pm which allowed us to do lots of other things during the day.
