Nous prendrons le métro depuis la station la plus proche de votre hôtel pour rejoindre le sanctuaire Meiji. Achevé en 1920, ce sanctuaire est un hommage à l'empereur Meiji, figure clé du Japon moderne du XIXe siècle. Profitez d'une promenade tranquille dans les environs sereins de la forêt et appréciez l'architecture distinctive de style shinto.
Le trajet du sanctuaire Meiji à la gare de Shibuya est court et ne prend que quelques minutes. Située au cœur de la ville de Shibuya, l'un des 23 quartiers de la métropole de Tokyo, la gare est connue pour son passage piéton emblématique. Juste à l'extérieur de la gare de Shibuya, vous aurez l'occasion de prendre une photo du célèbre monument du chien Hachiko !
Pour goûter au Japon traditionnel, Asakusa est la destination idéale. Great way to experience Tokyo and to learn how to use the subway system. We had the pleasure of working with Shizuka who was a delightful and energetic guide, full of knowledge of the area and its history. We were able to try great food and drinks, and see quite a few of Tokyo’s popular attractions. My wife and I enjoyed Shizuka’s company and we also learned a lot about how to navigate the subway system. The subway can feel very overwhelming at first, but with Shizuka’s guidance, it was a piece of cake.

If you want to see some of Tokyos best attractions while also learning the subway system, book this trip. My guide Yoshi was very knowledgeable and saved me many hours as he knew how to maneuver the train and subway system and get to our destinations quickly. Lots of walking so be prepared for that.

We had an amazing tour of Tokyo with our guide, Izumi! Izumi was wonderful and we were able to see so much more of Tokyo on the tour than we would have on our own. She helped us navigate the subway system, which would have been challenging otherwise. She spent an extra half hour with us after the tour ended, ensuring that we found our way back to the subway station and could make our way back to our hotel without getting lost. She brought candy for us, collected our trash, helped our kids with spills, and taught us about the local culture. It honestly would have been such a challenging day seeing everything on the itinerary on our own. Definitely book this tour if you are looking to see a lot in one day with ease!

Our tour guy was super patient and accommodating for some of our slower travelers. It was a great way to get acclimated to the city and orient ourselves for the rest of our trip.
