Commencez votre visite par le sanctuaire shinto le plus emblématique de Tokyo, dédié à l'empereur Meiji et à l'impératrice Shoken. Promenez-vous dans les sentiers forestiers paisibles, passez sous les imposants portails torii et imprégnez-vous de cette atmosphère sereine qui vous offre un havre de paix loin de l'agitation de la ville.
Le marché de Tsukiji, qui fut autrefois le plus grand marché de gros de poisson au monde, reste une destination incontournable pour les gourmets. Même si la zone des enchères proprement dite a été transférée à Toyosu, le marché extérieur de Tsukiji continue de déborder d'énergie chaque matin. Ici, les visiteurs peuvent déguster des sushis fraîchement préparés, des sashimis, des fruits de mer grillés et une grande variété de spécialités locales. Les ruelles étroites regorgent de petits restaurants, de magasins de couteaux et d'étals proposant du tamagoyaki, des huîtres et même des brochettes de wagyu. L'ambiance y est animée et authentique, reflétant parfaitement l'esprit de la culture culinaire tokyoïte. C'est l'endroit idéal pour commencer la journée et goûter à la fraîcheur du Japon.

Hiyo was an absolutely amazing host. It was just the two of us so we had some fun talks, and she was able to guide me through everything senso-ji related. We had a lovely snack, and she gave me a lot of tips for things to try the upcoming days. I can totally recommend this! Even the rain didn’t take away from this experience!
