L'Asakusa Sumo Club Annex propose un repas luxueux et délicieux ainsi qu'un spectacle de sumo dans un cadre relaxant et luxueux à la différence de tout autre restaurant du genre. Asakusa Sumo Club Annex a été créé le 20 février 2025 comme une branche de haut niveau du très populaire Asakusa Sumo Club. Tous les sièges sont des canapés, et le restaurant propose de la nourriture et des boissons dans une atmosphère rappelant un restaurant de ryotei Japonais haut de gamme. Le repas comprendra un Chanko (chicken hot pot) original supervisé par des lutteurs de sumo, et des sukiyaki et tempura à base de boeuf Wagyu Japonais. (*Classe économique : No tempura) (Des repas végétariens sont également disponibles.) Les boissons comprendront du whisky Japonais à volonté, de la bière pression etc..., et des boissons gazeuses. (*Classe économique : Les boissons comprendront 1 boisson, y compris, PAS à volonté) À l'annexe du club de sumo d'Asakusa, nous vous emmènerons dans un voyage profond à travers l'histoire et comment le sumo a évolué au fil des millénaires.

Our family really enjoyed this fun sumo experience! We sat in the first row, which was great since the sumo wrestlers got our daughters involved in the fun. The food was delicious as well! Our daughters (ages 9 and 13) said this was the highlight of our Tokyo trip!

This was a fun and entertaining experience! It's definitely a tourist-oriented show with lots of humor, a decent meal, and drinks included. While I never expected a real sumo competition, I learned a lot about the sport, its traditions, and what it takes to become a sumo wrestler. Some of the wrestling felt authentic, while much of the show was clearly designed to make the audience laugh. I went with my wife and enjoyed it, but I think it's especially great for families with young kids or anyone who wants to learn about sumo but doesn't have the opportunity to attend a real tournament.

We had such a great time at sumo!! They teach you the rules and then have a match. The sumo wrestlers are very funny and great performers. The food was good and we felt very well taken care of.

I absolutely loved this experience. The two sumo wrestlers were high energy and very interactive with the crowd. I enjoyed learning about the traditions of sumo and the geisha performance. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented. The beef in the soup was definitely high quality. I would recommend this activity for quests of all ages. My 9-year old son and my 80-year old mother in law both enjoyed the experience.

We sat in the first row (I think it’s considered deluxe or business) and felt like part of the show. It was incredibly entertaining and we laughed and took so many fun videos as memories. The cast is great and the staff was lovely and accommodating. I have boys age 11 and 14 and this tops the list of fun!

I went with my husband to a show. We sat in the action zone and preordered food and drinks. The show itself was fantastic. The staff were enthusiastic and kept the crowd entertained throughout. The shikona were also great, each manifesting their designated team personality and putting on a truly impressive show. Unfortunately they pack people in like sardines. Literally arm to arm, despite paying more than £100 per ticket. Our show was also during a heatwave and it was incredibly hot inside the room, with fans barely blowing out any air at all. Because the seats were positioned so closely together, and below the stage level rather than overlooking it, it was very difficult to see over heads as a smaller person. The bento boxes were fine but absolutely not worth the money. Being so squished in, we barely had the elbow room to eat them anyway. We also purchased the trio of cocktails which were delicious, but served in sticky glass bottles instead of the expected cocktail glasses. We also had asahi which was thankfully ice cold. I’d recommend this experience only if you’re lucky enough to snag a dining ticket, or don’t mind being crammed in a sweaty sticky human stink pit.
