【Tokyo/Asakusa】Expérience traditionnelle japonaise de fabrication du papier Washi

Nous vous proposons un atelier pratique où vous pourrez découvrir le washi artisanal, un artisanat traditionnel japonais. Tosa Washi, avec plus de 1000 ans d’histoire, est l’un des trois premiers journaux washi du Japon. Reconnu pour sa force et sa chaleur, il est facile à essayer et fait une expérience Asakusa mémorable, parfait pour les amateurs d'artisanat ou de culture japonaise. Après une courte vidéo sur l’histoire et le processus de Tosa Washi, vous porterez des vêtements de travail traditionnels (samue) et fabriquerez des cartes postales washi avec l’aide d’un instructeur amical. Dans le plan de papier ordinaire et le plan de papier coloré, vous fabriquerez à la main quatre cartes postales ordinaires. Le Colored Paper Plan comprend une étape supplémentaire : superposer de magnifiques Rakusuishi – des washi décoratifs en dentelle – sur le dessus. Vous pouvez choisir vos quatre couleurs préférées. L'atelier est plein de sourires et de surprise devant la beauté du papier fini. Emportez votre washi fait main comme souvenir spécial.

Kazu was a wonderful instructor. My friend and I took a car to Watashino and were happily greeted by Kazu. He explained everything so well and loved learning about the way washi paper was made. He had everything lined up perfectly so we could learn as well on a smaller scale. We loved our postcards we made! The gift shop attached is so cute too! Great souvenirs! Thank you Kazu and team!

This is an amazing experience! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan, it was such an interesting learning experience about how washi is made and walking away with some handmade paper that we made ourselves isthe best souvenir we can possibly take home

It was a washi-making experience I had always wanted to try. It was a hot day, but I was able to experience it in a cool and comfortable atmosphere indoors, and the teacher was cheerful and talked lightly while explaining washi, which was a wonderful experience.
