Awesome trip! Everything was on time but also laidback. The flights were very nice, no problems. We went to Tikal and Yaxha, the guide was very cool and knowledgeable.
The tour ran smoothly, from flights to venues to the hotel. Tikal was a bit rushed but a good introduction to the site. Great tour guides for both venues. The Hotel Maya on Lake Peten Itza was fabulous.
Incredible! We had an absolutely lovely time on this trip. Everyone was punctual with pick up and drop off. The airport and inter country travel was seamless. The flight was only 45 minutes so not bad at all. It was extremely hot and humid (we were there during “summer”) but the archeological and nature aspects far outweighed any temporary discomfort from the heat. We would 100% recommend this tour including the overnight stay at La Laguna.
I had the most glorious time! Victor was super communicative as some plans changed for me and they were continually responsive. All pick ups were on time. The guide at Tikal was absolutely fantastic and I was only with three other people. If you can afford to stay at Las Lagunas, do so! A heavenly spot with great service and gorgeous rooms and a museum, etc. I skipped the second tour to walk and kayak and take a lagoon trip at the hotel - no regrets! There may be cheaper ways to do all this, but this was seamless perfection! Thank you!!
Great tour! TransportIon was dependable and tour guide Alex did an amazing job of combining the facts about the areas ( Tikal and Yaxha)with his own personal knowledge and stories. Hotel Villa Maya is nice but you are kind of trapped there as the closest restaurants and bars are 6km away. Tag airline was 2 hours behind on return trip!!! Meals included were the best we has on our entire trip to Guatemala.
Everything went according to plan. I'm glad I did Yaxha. Whereas Tikal is covered with tourists, I almost had Yaxha to myself. Guides were very knowledgeable and I learned alot about the civilization and architecture.
Tykal is a magical place: Mayan temples and ruins immersed in the jungle create a fantastic atmosphere. We stayed on a weekday so with few visitors and it was an exciting experience that took you back in time. Multicolored parrots fluttering on the tall tree crowns completed the landscape.

The first day Yaxha was really disappointing. Even though I had booked for an English-speaking tour, I was in a group with 3 Spanish-speakers and myself. Obviously, the guide spent much more time explaining things in Spanish, and often forgot to repeat the information in English. Yaxha itself was amazing! If you have the time, you should definitely visit this site and, best to go before Tikal, if possible. We had the whole site almost entirely to ourselves! The hotel was average, but the bird life waking up on Sunday morning was spectacular. I had a toucan right outside my bedroom window! Tikal was excellent! We had a great group, and a very knowledgable guide. Although it rained and poured! intermittently throughout the day, our little group accepted the situation with good humor, and ended up having a wonderful day. Take rain gear, especially in November raincoat, not an umbrella -- you'll want your hands free to climb!. Wear waterproof shoes if you have them. Tikal is a lot of walking, but there is something fantastic to see around every corner.... Climb every pyramid and temple that you can!

This trip was amazing. We were in Guatemala for 12 days and this was probably the highlight of the trip. The guide was great and seemed to really be enthusiastic about what he did. He was very knowledgeable about bird species, plants, animals, and the history of the sites. All of the tour buses were very clean, the food was excellent, the flight was great on a regional carrier.

The hotel we stayed at was unbelievable! It was located on the shore of a large lake in the jungle and seemed like the type of place James Bond would stay. There were howler monkeys, birds, etc. right near the premises so you really felt like you were on an adventure.

The ruins themselves are worth a trip to Guatemala alone. Tikal was great, but we really liked Yaxha as there were only a few other tourists there and it felt very, very adventurous. The views were the best there as well.

The guide, the food, and all the people was great, I am from Guatemala and is my 4th time to Tikal but I learned so much from Alex and Marlon our guides, They accommodate my husband to see the magnificent temples since he fell at the airport and couldn't walk that well. Great Job, I will give 10 stars but you only have 5. I will recommend viator and this trip 100, THANK YOU GUYS
