TikalGo arranged everything for us: airport transfer from our hotel in Guatemala City, flights, transfer from Flores Airport to Flores Island to enjoy for a few hours before going to our hotel in Tikal National Park (because hotel checkin is not until 3pm), delivery to Jungle Lodge, Tikal Park entrance ticket and sunrise ticket, guided tour of Tikal (4am-9am), breakfast at the lodge, transfer from Tikal to Flores Airport, and transfer from Guatemala City Airport to our hotel in Antigua. Everything was perfect. Note: if you want to simply have lunch on Flores Island and get up to Jungle Lodge in Tikal National Park quickly, you can store your luggage at the lodge and enjoy the pool for a couple hours until your room is ready (3pm). Nearby restaurants are excellent, and the lodge restaurant looked good (their breakfast was awesome).

Get your money’s worth and leave the work to Tikal Go.
Overall, our experience was fantastic! My husband went directly through TikalGo all of our questions were answered before booking, after booking and during the experience. The experience included transportation and tickets to Tikal national Park. All of the drivers were had (in Peten and Guatemala City) were fantastic and very professional. They even went above and beyond to help us out, they brought us a forgotten charging block to the airport. The experience included 2 days in Peten with one night stay in Santa Elena (not Flores), transportation, park entrance fee, breakfast and lunch on the day of the excursion. The hotel Casona del Lago has 2 locations, one in the in the island of Flores and the other in Santa Elena, which is a 10-15 min walk over the bridge. The hotel was lovely and the staff were helpful. Our tour guide, Alejandro ‘Alex’ B., managed to keep my teens and husband interested in the tour. Alex’s patience and considerations were commendable as was his English. Overall the price we paid was worth it.

I didn’t know a scene from Star Wars was shot here!
Our very first tour in Guatemala and it was definitely a must see! Our family and friends of 13 enjoyed this tour very much and it was not terribly hot since we were able to find shade throughout the national park! The lunch served was delicious and we even had an hour to walk around Flores Island. Over all an amazing experience!

Tikal well worth the early start
Great Day trip to make the most of your time in guatemala, I did the trip to Tikal from Antigua with flights and the airport pickup and was able to get dropped off in guatemala city , Communication from Tikalgo was great and was a seamless experience from booking to the actual day. Very handy to be able to leave the larger baggage with the taxi driver and collect in the evening. Omar was really knowledgable and added to the experience. You do have the afternoon free with plenty of time to explore flores

Avoid the Flores part.
Great tour, Alex was amazing and knowledgeable, very attentive to our needs, thanks Alex. The driver was great. I highly recommend them both. Our time in Flores was a waste of time, not helped or guided at all.

Great experience!
Excellent tour, well organized with good communication and a great guide and driver. The price is definitely lower than the other laps, and so I was a little afraid of the quality, but finally I am delighted. The guide is exciting and passionate and very patient and understanding. However, I regret not having the opportunity to take the car to the site because it was really difficult and tiring for someone who is not athletic.

Nay the guide is super friendly and gives important information of the place, plus it was very flexible with the time available during the tour, transport can improve was small for the group and the air conditioning was not enough

Este fue un tour grupal, y en este tipo de servicios manejamos una temperatura estándar dentro del vehículo (aproximadamente 23 °C), buscando un equilibrio que funcione para todos los pasajeros. Entiendo que, a nivel personal, podrías preferir una temperatura más baja, pero al tratarse de un grupo, siempre debemos mantener un punto medio para que sea cómodo en general. Nuestros vehículos son modernos y están en perfectas condiciones, por lo que el aire acondicionado funciona correctamente; más bien es un tema de ajuste para el grupo en conjunto.
