The Grand Oslo Ride : E-bike Experience

Nice ride thru town. Major city but very few cars which made the ride nice. You can take other tours but the e-bike lets you see neighborhoods you won't see on a bus. Location was easy to find with google maps. Guide was knowledgable and pleasant.

When booking it mentioned that it was a small group, however there was nearly 30 people on the tour. The tour guide was lovely but she kept saying "because there are so many of us we cannot stop, we will just ride past!" This was disappointing as we picked this tour to see Oslo not just ride past. The bikes were also in need of maintenance, my husbands bike was appalling and he had to fix it himself enroute. It should have not been out on a ride as he had no gears or brakes. I swapped mine with the other guide as the one I had was also troublesome and far to big. There was no sorting which bike would suit who, it was a mad free for all so men were riding step through bikes and women were on men's bikes which made it difficult for some of the ladies. Very disappointing experience.

Really enjoyed this experience. Easy riding and helpful guide. Saw key sites, statue park, palace red house, opera theatre and ride through the city. 3 hours long and well worth it. Cycling was a bit slow and some riders had an interesting approach to red lights and road safety, but that's not the fault of the organisation. It's for all ages providing you can ride a bike and have some road sense. You are in the city.

THIS WAS A SCAM!! We showed up the the correct address. The buzzer had the tour name and everything. Nobody answered the doorbell. No one answered our messages. No one answered our call. We waited 30 minutes and nothing. DO NOT BOOK. TOTAL SCAM

We have done many bike tours around the world, and this was one of the worst. The guide was inexperienced, his English was difficult to understand, and he shared very little interesting information about the city or sites we visited. The bike itself was low quality, and the battery was literally being held in place with a zip tie, which did not inspire confidence from a safety standpoint. The itinerary was also disappointing. Our first stop was a lengthy visit to the nude statue park, which we found to be a complete waste of time. Even worse, the guide led the group through streets with active construction, creating unnecessary safety concerns. Overall, this tour provided very little value and was a waste of both time and money. There are far better ways to see the city.

It was good , bikes were good and even with bad weather we did the whole tour. Info could have been more in depth and many topics. We even stopped for a Norwegian waffle which was an extra. Just felt there wasn’t enough information given. We did a walking tour with someone else and the amount of info we received when seeing the same sights was shocking. Indi just needs to bring more to her tour

Erika took care of everything with attentive service. She answered our questions and adapted to the slower and faster participants.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re visiting Oslo and wondering how to see as much of the city as possible without wearing out your shoes, the Oslo E-Bike Tour is the answer! We had an amazing time exploring the city, and the e-bikes made us feel far fitter than we actually are. Hills that would normally have us questioning our life choices suddenly became effortless. A huge thank you to Erika, who was an absolutely fantastic guide. She was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing loads of interesting facts and stories about Oslo along the way. She struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining, keeping everyone interested without it ever feeling like a history lesson. The tour was well organised, with plenty of stops at Oslo’s key sights and some hidden gems we would never have found on our own. Erika was also patient with questions, happy to offer local recommendations, and somehow managed to keep the group together despite varying levels of cycling talent! The whole experience was great fun from start to finish. We learned a lot, saw a huge amount of the city, and even finished the tour without embarrassing ourselves on the bikes, which I consider a major success. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Oslo. Thanks again, Erika, for a brilliant tour and for making us feel like Oslo locals for a few hours!

Fun time biking around Oslo. We don't bike much so after 3 hours we were sore but not bad. Tiny seats didn't help.
