Simon was a great guide. Funny and informative. Tour was well organized, timely, and the air con in the bus was lovely!
Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Simon and found him to be both funny and informative. It’s great to know that everything was well organized and on time, and that you appreciated the air conditioning on the bus too! We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back again in the future. Kind regards, Evan Evans Team
Had a great time on the tour. Very accommodating. I sometimes have quite a bit of difficulty with buss rides due to my health but I was met with a lot of kindness and consideration. All the interesting facts and tidbits were very fun and it really elevated the experience to get the context of Blenheim's history and the Cotswold. I think its a shame that we had to walk through Blenheim without a guided tour due to the changed rules. But that's completely on Blenheim Palace and receiving an introduction before arriving is a good compromise. I couldn't find where to get guided tours when at the Palace. Of course there were the prerecorded audio on the QR code but that's never the same experience and its often a sanitized approved version without the charm and wit that a live guide brings. I can confirm that each stop is quite tight on time. But I also understand why since it is quite a long trip and it takes the full day. They did an amazing job of making the ride between each stop just as much part of the experience and it was far from dead waiting time in between each stop. That's something to keep in mind if you're considering this tour. Basically if you want to spend an entire day at Blenheim then this tour is not intended for you. In the time that we were there during the busy season we had time to both wait in line and then speedrun through the main palace exhibition. Was there interesting interiors and cool stuff to look at: Yes. Would I recommend going about it like I did: No. Blenheim's qr code guided tours are fiddly and not fantastic to navigate. Instead take a look at the other areas and the gardens, have a coffee or a sandwich. Its calmer, easier and you might learn more stuff or even be able to take a smaller guided tour there. I would say that even with more time on our hands I don't think i would have spent more time inside the palace main building either way. During the Cotswold stop we went to a lovely flapjack bakery and got three flapjacks the size of bricks which was probably the best souvenir from the entire trip. I had hoped to be able to give some sort of gratuity/tip to our great driver and fantastic guide but I there was only cash option and in Sweden where I'm from we haven't handled paper money the last five years or so. I hope that maybe in the future there might be a cashless option even tho that can be tricky to set up.
The bus trip to and from is 4 hours. However the coach was comfortable and well air conditioned. If you go during peak season be warned of long lines to enter the Palace.
Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re pleased to hear that you found the coach comfortable and well air-conditioned during the journey. We also appreciate your helpful comments regarding the longer travel time and the queues during peak season. We understand that waiting times can affect the overall experience, and we hope the visit itself was still enjoyable and worthwhile. Thank you for choosing Evan Evans Tours! Phil was a wealth of knowledge with loads of fun facts, and Sorin was a fabulous driver. The Cotswalds was my favorite part of this tour! This is a great daytrip from London!

The itinerary has not met our expectations. For example, time allotted to Stow-on-the-Woll was far too short to explore and enjoy the village. The only bright parts of our tour were our guide, Leslie, and our driver, Adrian.
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the itinerary did not fully meet your expectations, particularly regarding the time available in Stow-on-the-Wold. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue reviewing our itineraries. We're pleased to hear that Leslie and Adrian helped make the day more enjoyable, and we'll be sure to pass on your kind words to them. Kind regards, Evan Evans Team
The tour guide was telling the stories who she met “but I am not tell you who”. What is the point to start the story? The thrown the names many people not familiar with, “well… people who know them , understand who it is”. Horrible experience with Lesly.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the guiding style did not meet your expectations and that you were disappointed with your experience. We appreciate your comments and will share them with the relevant team as we continually strive to deliver engaging and enjoyable tours for all our guests. Kind regards, Evan Evans Team
Great way to see Cotswolds and more countryside. Guide was informative! Don’t spend too much time inside Blenheim or you won’t have time for the gardens and grounds!

The tour guide Cameron was very professional, energetic, and friendly. The way they explained the history and shared the stories was engaging and very interesting. The coach was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The overall experience was excellent. Thanks to the bus driver Gary👍😀
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted Cameron and Gary helped make your experience excellent with their professionalism, knowledge, and friendly service. We hope to welcome you again soon!
I was very disappointed with this tour, especially given its high rating and the promise of a well-organized experience across such beautiful locations. Firstly, the tour description clearly stated that entry to the palace was included in the price. However, upon arrival we were told to purchase tickets ourselves. This was both confusing and frustrating, as it directly contradicted the advertised information. Secondly, the transport arrangements were extremely poorly managed. After visiting Blenheim, we waited around 20 minutes at the meeting point before being informed that the bus had broken down. We were asked to return 40 minutes later, only for the replacement bus to arrive an additional 30 minutes late. During this time, there was little communication and no visible guide, leaving the group waiting in the heat without updates. As a result of these delays, the planned lunch stop in the Cotswolds was effectively lost. We had very limited time and were forced to rush to find whatever food was available, rather than enjoying the location as intended. This significantly impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the replacement bus did not have WiFi, which was another inconvenience. Overall, the tour was disorganized, poorly communicated, and far from the experience advertised. I would appreciate an explanation, particularly regarding the palace ticket issue, and would expect a refund given the circumstances.
