Description
Êtes-vous prêt à découvrir les secrets de la capitale de Castille-La Manche ? C'est parti ! En nous promenant autour de la cathédrale de Tolède, nous découvrirons les légendes et les histoires liées à la ville des trois cultures : chrétiens, arabes et juifs ont cohabité dans une ville qui recèle de nombreux secrets à découvrir. Nous découvrirons également l'histoire des Wisigoths et des musulmans qui occupaient autrefois le site de l'actuelle cathédrale, dont l'origine remonte au XIIIe siècle. Nous poursuivrons notre visite dans le quartier juif, l'un des quartiers les plus artistiques et les plus riches en monuments du centre historique. Nous terminons notre visite en revenant au point de rendez-vous initial, non sans passer au préalable par la Casa Don Rodrigo de la Fuente, une demeure seigneuriale du XVe siècle qui a été à la fois témoin et acteur majeur de l'histoire de Tolède et qui est classée site d'intérêt culturel. IMPORTANT : Pour les groupes de plus de 6 personnes, nous utilisons des écouteurs. REMARQUE : les enfants de moins de 12 ans ne reçoivent pas de casque.

This tour was such a delight for our family of four with two teenagers. Toledo, in general, far exceeded our expectations. This tour was a wonderful way to learn about the city and see hidden gems. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept us in the shade most of the time. Even with the very hot weather, it was enjoyable.

Overall, it was interesting, although I would have liked to be closer to very emblematic buildings in the city, such as the synagogues and the house of El Greco.

Juan was entertaining. However, his English was not as clear as I would have expected for an English language tour. It did not help that the quality of the audio equipment sound was poor

Toledo is rich with history and it’s also extremely noisy with buses, cars and people all jockeying for the same space - so we were very happy to be given small speakers that looped over one ear so that we could hear our guide as she regaled us with her stories of creation, life, destruction and rebirth. A great plan to experience all that Toledo has to offer is to start with this tour, and then plan the rest of your time based on what you learn in 90 minutes.
A very satisfying and recommended experience. We were a group of friends; the girl who accompanied us (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she was from Granada) seemed very nice and explained everything very well, and she was attentive at all times to ensure we did not suffer any falls or accidents. I would do it again.
