Big thanks for Tania and Luigi - our family trip to Cinque Terre was just perfetto! We saw much more and gather many interesting facts during our visit. And there was many laughs and fun as well.
Tanya was an amazing tour guide, very accommodating and knowledgeable. She was able to accommodate my Mother's wheelchair and made adjustments of the tour based on her lack of mobility.
Tanya our guide was so knowledgeable, fun to be with and very organized with the itinerary and had the best recommendations where to eat and shop. Highly recommend this tour company.
Luigi our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He met us at our hotel with a “Big” friendly smile and a grateful hello! From the moment we started the drive his knowledge of the region was impressive. Touring Cinque Terre by boat gave us a full appreciation for its beauty along with the amazing construction on such rugged terrain. His food recommendations were spot on. If you want a comprehensive and beautiful tour, this one is for you. A great value!
Luigi was fantastic and kept us captivated the entire time. He was enthusiastic and informative during the whole trip. He gave a broad overview and interesting details of the five villages along with everything along the way. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in taking the excursion. Ask for Luigi!
It was a very good experience for both me & my wife. the tour guide “Luigi” was very friendly & is able to give us useful information & ample time to have us walk around & explore the area. the shared van we had was clean and has ample space. the tour in all was a great experience. They never pressured us to go in a place to buy things or have us wait in an area for a long period of time.
We decided to book several excursions through this company and we dealt with Tania. Only the visit to Le cinque terre was great, thanks to Luigi, the tour operator who was well prepared for his job and very professional. The other excursions were a disaster. All cancelled the last minute. Horse riding was the worst. The stables cancelled at 7.00 am and Tania informed us at 9.00 am, by which time we arrived at the stables by taxi. We were able to horse ride another day as she already took the money and she was not prepared to refund but credited from another excursion although we don’t know which ones since they were all cancelled. Very poor organisation and communication from this lady who should realise that when you are on holiday and things are cancelled last minute there is little alternative to rearrange something else. Definitely would not recommend using this company.
Dear Mr Joseph, thank you for your feedback. We are always open to hear your feelings and point of view. We are so happy you enjoyed and appreciated the guiding of our Cinque terre tour. We always put our effort to make the experiences beautiful. So we wanted for your Horse riding. As you know in the morning of the horse riding was pooring rain. The guide tried to call you many times to inform you it’s impossible to ride under rain (for safety reasons too), but you didn’t answer. We called the hotel too and they said you left earlier as you wanted to be on the spot 1 hour in advance. You asked us to move the ride to the next Sunday and we did. Hope you enjoyed the ride then. Of course if you wouldn’t complete the horse riding we would refund the money for shure. There were not credited money because you paid for Cinque terre and you did the tour. You paid for the horse riding and you did the tour. You was on the waiting list for the third tour you wanted to book with us and the tour was suppose to be reconfirmed for you (not cancelled). We are grateful you wanted to do few tours with us, but with last minute bookings we can not guarantee places. We always recommend to prebook in advance all the experiences you are interested in. Kind regards
Another great tour from comeandseeitaly.com. This was our second tour with them during our vacation in Italy. We traveled from Montecatini to Cinque Terre in a modern, comfortable van. Our tour guide, Valeria, explained the history behind each area we traveled, and brought the ride to life. We cannot say enough great things about her. She was so helpful to the two women who had a difficult time walking the steep hills. She even got them a shuttle ride to the top of the last hill where we met our van. A delicious treat was the focaccia bread with delicious pesto that Valeria bought for all of us to taste. She’s a gem! ❤️ We had great weather and experienced everything the tour included - the roundtrip transportation, the boat ride, the train ride, and Valeria’s expert explanations of each area. This was a wonder tour. Another cinque stelle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Valeria was an outstanding tour guide she treated us like family The car was excellent and all parts of the tour perfect She went out of her way to make sure the experience would be beautiful and unforgettable
This was a great tour! Tanya picked us up in Montecatini Terme right on time. We had a bit of a drive to meet up with others in Lucca. But on the way, Tanya pointed out some of the scenery we were passing, such as the Carrera Marble Quarry and Factory (they offer a tour to that as well, wish I'd known!). Anyway, we proceeded on to Cinque Terre, with more commentary in our van about the villages, the wine production, history, etc. When we got out of the van at the parking lot, Valerie was our tour guide. She led us up, down and all around three villages, on the boat, the train, and didn't lose anyone. She is a skilled cat-herder, as well as super knowledgeable about the history of the villages, restaurants, and how to get from point a to point b to point c and back again, despite the rough sea and the return boat being canceled because of that.
