This food tour was fantastic! Our guide, Abu, was knowledgeable about the food and Japanese culture. He had a lot of recommendations for our time in Tokyo and helped us narrow down our itinerary. The tour is in a neighborhood outside the city center which was great to walk around as we chatted with Abu. The food itself was a good sampling of street food. We were stuffed! Abu did a great job of ordering a variety of items to taste and always offered to order more of what we liked. We are 2 families with kids ranging from 11-14 years old and it was enjoyable for all of us. We definitely recommend this tour!
Knowledgeable and very personalized tour. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend it! Don't hesitate to book it.
The food was absolutely delicious. It was really cool to try such a variety. Without this tour, we wouldn’t have visited Kichijoji, and I’m really glad we got to see it. Sena was so sweet and answered all our questions, plus gave us recommendations for later in our trip. Thank you!!
Carlos was a wonderful guide, very friendly and genuinely interested in ourselves. The food was amazing and the quantity was huge. You definitely will not be hungry. The kichijoji area has fantastic street food stalls that sell individual types of food. A memorable day, thank you Carlos
Sena did a wonderfull job. She is very patiently and well formed. We had fun and were not lost in this crowed area. District was easy to reach by s-way.
We had a wonderful time with Sena! She speaks English very well and did a great job answering our questions and explaining the food and culture of Japan. We took the tour before heading to the airport and had all of our luggage with us. Sena helped us find nearby storage for our luggage as well as navigate the trading routes back to the airport after the tour. None of that was part of the tour but Sena was so kind and helpful. The food tour itself was awesome. Pace yourself! There are so many foods to try! Sena did a great job of introducing us to a wide range of interesting and delicious foods. The final stop was at a beautiful park where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Magical! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Sena!
We were introduced by our very friendly and knowledgeable guide Sena to a number of delicious Tokyo street foods during a walk around a popular local venue for this activity. Highly recommend.
Seden, truly made my family’s food tour memorable. She speaks perfect English and is fluent in both Japanese and the culture. She took the four of us on a food tour of what the locals like to eat versus the more common tourist traps. She also led us through a beautiful night stroll through a park. The walk was needed because to digest between all of the meals. Trust me, you need a huge appetite to finish off all the food. We didn’t even come close! The most unique meal was the hot table but my favourite was the sushi bar because of the setting and chefs omakase. If you love food, this tour is a must! NOTE: wish I could have loaded photos but the site wasn’t working :(
We had a great experience with Ai as our guide. Kchijoji is a great neighborhood to visit. Love the local street food.
We had an amazing food tasting experience with Seden. We toured a neighborhood of Tokyo we never would have discovered ourselves. The food was interesting and so good. Seden shared information on the history of the area and the food we were sampling. Seden is such a fun and interesting person. We are so glad we met her early in our vacation so we could go back and try more street food in the same area.
