Tequila/Guachimontones Tour-route du patrimoine culturel

Description

It was a wonderful tour. I enjoyed every part of it from the ancient Guachimontes to the rich cultural experience of Tequila and the surrounding areas. Daniel was a great host, very knowledgeable and accommodating. I definitely recommend this tour!
Awesome day - learnt so much! About Tequila - how it’s made and about Mexican history. Great to get out of the city and into the country and small towns.
Thank you for your comment We are always happy to show visitors the other face of Mexico. Maybe you could recommend Jalisco with your family and friends :) Best regards Daniel L
We had an unforgettable day trip from Guadalajara to Tequila and Guachimontones, a UNESCO world heritage site, and I can’t recommend Daniel’s tour enough. He is also a super nice guy, and you will genuinely enjoy spending the day with him. He anticipated everything: bathroom breaks, snacks, chargers, a super comfortable van, and he kept the group small so we could really connect with fellow travelers from Australia and Colombia. We learned so much about the agave plant, tequila production from field to bottle, and the history behind the unique circular pyramids at Guachimontones, all explained with clear, engaging context. This tour gave us a deep appreciation for Jalisco’s culture, food, and landscapes, far beyond what you see on TV, and is a must‑do whether or not it’s World Cup season. Things to bring: sunscreen, bug spray, small bills for tips, a small plastic or wet bag for your tequila tasting cup keepsakes, and wet wipes for sticky hands. Thank you, Daniel (Dani‑El), for an amazing and thoughtful experience.
I also had an excellent day with you guys. We are proud the read your comment and hope see you again soon. Please tell to your friends and family about the other face of Mexico 🇲🇽 Best regards Daniel L
Daniel was great! Very smart and insightful. We booked last minute and couldn’t have had a better experience!!
We are always happy to attend visitors and show you Guys the other face of our beautiful country. Please tell to your friends and family the reality of my country. Best regards Daniel L
Guachimontones was easily the highlight imo! The traditional food & drinks are a treat too!! Both Tequila & Teuchitlán are well worth the visit. Vibrant towns in their own ways, but prob would’ve been nicer to have a bit more time on the itinerary for Tequila Town in the end. Guide was really informative and friendly. Can tell they’re passionate about this! However I did feel pressured by them to tip at buffet in Tequila despite minimal service from staff, so much so that they forgot to bring me a drink, but were going to charge for it anyway. Listen I mean fair enough it’s only a few pesos, but when almost everywhere in México expects tips from tourists regardless of how much prices are sometimes inflated, I feel like it should be a more discrete suggestion given whatever the service is like that particular day as a matter of principle
In Mexico tip at restaurants and other services is normal, part of the culture but we understand you. We are happy to read that the rest of the day was great for you.
We were in town for a World Cup match and decided to book this tour. Danny was our tour guide and was fantastic. He was knowledgeable of the pyramid’s and took us to a REAL tequila distillery. He also gave us good bar / restaurant recommendations that we utilized. So much fun and if we are in town again we will try to book with him again.
Thank you so much Mr Kevin. We would like to see you again whenever you come. Best regards Daniel L
From the moment of booking, Daniel is incredibly attentive. The meeting point was super punctual and the tour was truly amazing! Daniel is a great expert in the area, Guachimontones is very beautiful and it is a great option to do it with Daniel. It is worth mentioning that being a small group, the attention is very good! And we were a mixed group with 2 people from Korea who made the experience very enjoyable. The tequila tour is at a super delicious local distillery! We will definitely book another tour with Daniel!!!
Gracias Daniel Cuando vengan aquí eatremoa esperandolos.
I rate guide Daniel 10/10. I ended up doing a private solo tour to the pyramids and tequila tasting, with enough time worked into the scheduld to also visit Tlaquepaque as i missed going there day before due to heavy rainfall. Every bit of the tour was great, the van modern and comfy. Would highly recommend.
We are always happy to make you feel good. Best regards Daniel L
Daniel is both knowledgeable and passionate about Mexican history and culture and he has curated an ideal tour that combines both.
Thanks for your comment We are proud to read your option and please share with your family and friends the beauty of our country. Best regards Daniel L
Our guide, Daniel, went far beyond any expectations that we had. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the history and culture of the Guachimontones and Tequila regions and provided an excellent English service. Daniel was punctual and flexible to fit our preferences and displayed an obvious passion for revealing the deep heart and history of Jalisco. I would absolutely organise another tour through Daniel if I ever find myself in a position to do so and strongly recommend you don’t pass up the opportunity to let him be your guide ☺️
So happy to read your review. I always do my best to show visitors the other face of my beautiful country. Whenever you come back we’ll be here for you :)
