Ce temple est absolument magnifique et l'un des préférés jusqu'à présent par rapport à d'autres nombreux sanctuaires au Japon. Il y a beaucoup moins de touristes ici, ce qui vous donne la possibilité de savourer et d'apprécier les environs. Le modèle a été si bien conservé et a beaucoup de petits sanctuaires et une porte à l'approche avec de beaux arbres, des plantes et des lanternes tout autour. Il y a aussi beaucoup de petits restaurants et d'endroits pour acheter des souvenirs. Nous avons eu une promenade vraiment agréable pour voir cela - à 25 minutes de la gare de Nagano et cela valait bien la promenade. Un endroit vraiment magnifique.
Monzen Terrace Enya est un endroit idéal pour manger à Nagano au Japon. Un peu à l'écart du centre-ville de Nagano, il est cependant assez proche du temple Zenkoji et qui est fortement recommandé comme logement. La nourriture est un mélange imaginatif de styles occidentaux (par exemple, pizzas et pâtes) et japonais.
Le parc des singes de Jigokudani (地獄谷野猿公苑, Jigokudani Yaen Kōen) offre aux visiteurs l'expérience unique de voir des singes sauvages se baigner dans une source chaude naturelle. Vous descendez du véhicule et faites une douce promenade de 30 minutes à travers une forêt spectaculaire et arrivez à une gorge. Pour un coût très raisonnable, vous entrez ensuite dans la zone réglementée où vous pouvez habiter et regarder les singes jouer et se baigner. Le parc est habité par des macaques japonais, également connus sous le nom de singes des neiges.

Ali was very accommodating with our group. He arranged everything for us, he got us as close to the snow monkey park as possible, and he gave us great tips for visiting the temple. Our children don’t do well with structured tours so this was perfect for us.
This private Snow Monkey and Zenkoji Temple tour was a great day out. Moiz was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The sake tasting was a nice bonus, and the private tour made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

The 1-Day Private Snow Monkey, Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour with Malik in November was excellent. The autumn scenery was beautiful, and Malik provided helpful guidance throughout the day. We enjoyed our day exploring the Monkey Park. The hike through the forest was beautiful and our guide and driver (Ali and Abdul) did a great job. While we didn’t see many monkeys since it was off season, we had a great day. My advice: go at a different time of year but request Ali and Abdul to be your driver and guide!

We had an amazing time on the 1-Day Private Snow Monkey Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour! From the moment we met our guide, everything was seamless. Extremely Disappointed. "Smile" tours misrepresented what it delivers. This is a driver service only. There is no guide for the monkey park or temple. There is no sake tasting. The lunch was not good - it included the worst sushi I've ever had. This company is trying to present itself as another company that actually offers an English speaking guide to the attractions. And it takes longer than 6 hours, since they don't mention the two hour roundtrip drive to the monkey park. Our driver was a nice person but he could have spoken Japanese and it wouldn't have mattered since he barely spoke to us...
