Après avoir quitté le centre-ville de Siem Reap à 8h00, le voyage commence tout droit. Votre premier arrêt sera l'impressionnant temple de Preah Vihear, majestueusement perché au sommet d'une falaise de 700 mètres de haut. Préparez-vous à être hypnotisé par le cadre magnifique et plongez dans la beauté de ce temple remarquable. Pour les amateurs de sensations fortes et les aventuriers courageux, une balade en 4×4 vous attend, ajoutant une expérience exaltante à cet incroyable voyage. Tenez-vous bien pendant que vous montez la colline, sentez l'adrénaline monter dans vos veines. Le temple de Preah Vihear, site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, n'est pas seulement une merveille d'architecture ancienne mais aussi un emblème du patrimoine culturel khmer. Construit pendant l'empire khmer au 9ème siècle, ce temple possède des sculptures complexes et des vues à couper le souffle qui vous laisseront bouche bée. Explorez le vaste complexe et découvrez la riche histoire et le symbolisme derrière ses structures. Ne manquez pas les Gopuras (pavillons d'entrée) présentant des sculptures ornées.
Après deux heures d'exploration, préparez-vous à être hypnotisé en descendant les contreforts et en arrivant à l'impressionnant temple Koh Ker, également connu sous le nom de temple Pyramide. Ici, vous découvrirez un véritable témoignage de l'ancien empire khmer. En mettant les pieds dans ce site remarquable, préparez-vous à être émerveillé par ses sculptures complexes et son architecture unique et captivante. Les anciens artisans khmers n'ont rien négligé, ornant ce temple avec des détails exquis qui ont résisté à l'épreuve du temps. Situé à l'intérieur du complexe du temple de Koh Ker. Ce temple est l'un des temples de culte importants du groupe Koh Ker pour les villages locaux.
Entouré par la jungle depuis plus de 1000 ans, ce temple était en ruine et la moitié du sanctuaire est toujours tombé. Les visiteurs verront un beau et grand Linga en relativement bon état. Une fois entrés dans ce temple, les visiteurs auront l’impression de retourner dans les temps anciens.
C'est un autre des plus beaux temples du complexe de Koh Ker. Le temple a été relativement détruit, mais il a été préservé et réinstallé. Il y a cinq tours appelées littéralement Prasat Pram, ce qui signifie cinq temples.

En attendant, nous vous demandons de bien vouloir patienter dans le hall. Nous vous invitons à être préparés et prêts à notre arrivée, car tout retard imprévu pourrait perturber le programme.

What a fantastic day in Koh Ker! I can only recommend Kingkong. What made the experience so special was the quality of its explanations. This was a great tour! Koh Ker is a really unique structure, especially for Southeast Asia, and while the Preah Vihear temple complex itself may not be quite as impressive as Koh Ker, Angkor Wat, or the Banteay Srei, its location high-up in the mountains is breathtaking and very different from the settings of the Khmer structures around Siem Reap. However, what made this tour truly 5 out of 5 stars was the guide, Ra, and the driver, Sreymon. They took incredibly good care of us during a long day of traveling from temple to temple, ensuring that we had a good, very affordable, lunch tried local delicacies. It’s because of their outstanding service that this was truly a special tour and one I would highly recommend to those interested in seeing something off the beaten path during their visit to Siem Reap!

We were of group of tree and had a wonderful tour with a professional tour guide John Long and a great driver Veng. The pick-up was punctual and everything went as smoothly as possible. We had enough time in each stop and got lots of information about the temples and also everyting else we wanted to know. The driving was smooth and we had nice stops with really clean restrooms and good cafe/restaurants. We highly recommend John Long as a tour guide and Mr. Veng as a driver.

Wonderful service. Highly recommended. Our guide Pip is very knowledgeable with history of the temples and help to take the best photos. Temples are older than Angkor Wat which makes them a must visit as part of your trip to Siem Reap. A long trip covering long distances but the temples in 2 different location makes it totally worthwhile as it is an immersion into history of Cambodia.
