La place de la Liberté, anciennement connue sous les noms d'Erivansky ou de Paskevich-Erivansky sous la Russie impériale et les places Beria et Lénine sous l'Union soviétique, est située au centre de Tbilissi, à l'extrémité est de l'avenue Rustaveli.
Vieille ville
La basilique Sainte-Marie d'Anchiskhati est la plus ancienne église conservée à Tbilissi, en Géorgie. Il appartient à l'église orthodoxe géorgienne et date du sixième siècle.
Le pont de la paix, l’une des plus récentes attractions de Tbilissi, a été inauguré en 2010 au-dessus de la rivière Mtkvari (également connue sous le nom de rivière Kura).
Un monument à la mémoire du célèbre poète et musicien arménien Ashugh Sayat - Nova (Harutyun Sayadian) a été inauguré à Tbilissi le 7 juin 2009. La sculpture de Guya Djaparidze et Kokha Koridze est située près du mur nord de l'église arménienne St Kevork. Dans la même église, Sayat - Nova et d’autres chrétiens se cachaient lors de l’attaque du shah Aga Mohamed Kadjar en 1795. Sayat - Nova a été tué sur le seuil de cette église et y est enterré.

Ouvert en 1981, le théâtre Gabriadze est devenu un élément très apprécié de la scène culturelle de Tbilissi.

Son système esthétique inclut également l'art plastique, basé sur les traditions de l'art arménien, oriental et européen.
La rue Shardeni est l’une des rues les plus populaires et les plus belles de Tbilissi. Cette rue piétonne est si connue que tout visiteur qui se rend en Géorgie ne quitte jamais son pays sans se rendre dans la rue Shardeni.
Le 23 juin 2012, un nouveau tramway aérien a été inauguré à Tbilissi. Il relie le parc Rike nouvellement construit, qui se trouve juste en face de la vieille ville, de la rivière Mtkvari, à Narikala, la forteresse qui surplombe la ville
La cathédrale de la Dormition Sioni est une cathédrale orthodoxe géorgienne située à Tbilissi, capitale de la Géorgie. Suivant une tradition géorgienne médiévale de nommer des églises après des lieux particuliers de Terre Sainte, la cathédrale Sioni porte le nom de mont Sion à Jérusalem.
Kartlis Deda est un monument situé dans la capitale géorgienne, Tbilissi. La statue a été érigée au sommet de la colline de Sololaki en 1958, année du 1500e anniversaire de Tbilissi. Le célèbre sculpteur géorgien Elguja Amashukeli a conçu la figure en aluminium de vingt mètres d'une femme en costume national géorgien.
La mosquée du vendredi (Jumah en arabe) est située au cœur de la vieille ville de Tbilissi. Non seulement son architecture est unique et vous ne réaliserez probablement pas qu’il s’agit d’une mosquée au premier abord, mais c’est également l’une des rares mosquées au monde, où chiites et sunnites prient ensemble. La mosquée est ouverte aux visiteurs de toutes les religions et convictions.
Rike Park est un espace de loisirs public à Tbilissi, populaire auprès des familles, des touristes et des résidents en promenade.
La sculpture d'un homme tenant une corne à Tbilissi, modelée sur une ancienne statuette colchienne surnommée affectueusement "tamada".

Ce monument symbolisait une légende sur la création de Tbilissi au Vème siècle par le roi Vakhtang Gorgasal.
Hou la la! Véritable cascade dans le centre-ville!
Un autre monument antique de Tbilissi est le temple Metekhi (XIIe siècle) situé près du bord de la rive rocheuse du Kura.

My trip in this experience was with Mr. Koba. We did meet in the time and the place with no delay. Our journey was beyond exceptional. It was solo, but I felt that I was with a friend rather than a guide. You will walk an amazing journey with rich history of Georgia and tiblisi specifically. My first day in Tblisi was a cold rainy day, but I was fortunate enough to have the best tour guide. Khatuna was there to pick me up and take me on two tours back to back (this one and the Brutalist Architecture Tour). She was able to point out all the highlights and made the two tours most enjoyable under extremely trying circumstances. I could have not picked a better way to spend my first day in this most fascinating city. Thank you again for a very enjoyable and educational experience!

Our tour guide, Aleksi, was really patient with us. Traveling with a toddler has its’perks’ but he made us feel at ease when she started getting a little fussy. He took us round old and new Tbilisi, with very detailed knowledge of iconic heritage. He was very helpful with wadding off the very many goods sellers wanting to sell to tourists. He helped negotiate price as well which I found very admirable considering they spoke same language and from same place. Overall, a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this to first timers in Tbilisi.
