Perché au sommet de la colline Petite Montague, le Citadel Fort se situe à 100 mètres d'altitude. Également connu sous le nom de Fort Adélaïde (du nom de l'épouse de Guillaume II, à l'époque où les Britanniques s'étaient établis à Port Louis), le fort offre une vue imprenable sur le port, l'hippodrome (champs de mars) et la ville entière de Port Louis. .
Le jardin botanique Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam (parfois abrégé en jardin botanique SSR), communément appelé le jardin botanique de Pamplemousses, est une attraction touristique populaire à Pamplemousses, près de Port Louis, à Maurice, et le plus ancien jardin botanique de l'hémisphère sud. Célèbre pour son long bassin de nénuphars géants (Victoria amazonica), le jardin a été construit par Pierre Poivre (1719 - 1786) en 1770, et couvre une superficie d'environ 37 hectares. En plus de ses nénuphars géants, le jardin comprend également des épices, des ébènes, des cannes à sucre et 85 variétés de palmiers d'Amérique centrale, d'Asie, d'Afrique et des îles entourant l'océan Indien. Les dirigeants mondiaux et les membres de la royauté ont planté de nombreux arbres, notamment la princesse Margaret, la comtesse de Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand et Robert Mugabe.

If ever in Mauritius it’s a must; as this island has a history beside it’s beautiful beaches . He was so explicit throughout the trip and before every stop he informs me of what to expect . He was very helpful and tried his best to make this day tour pleasant . The car was very clean and comfortable. Thank you and i recommend him to other tourists.
We initially booked the SouthWest tour but Chucky contacted us and warned us about the Chamarel rhumerie being closed on Sunday so we booked The North trip direct instead. It was fantastic and Sahil is a great deiver and guide. We were picked up exactly on time and he companies us to all the sites. (Market, port, chateau Lebarnais Rhumerie, red roof church and then some). It was a packed trip and totally worth it. This tour has plenty to offer and Sahil is the best guide we could have dreamed of. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to really enjoy Mauritius.
We did a day with one of the tour guides, however it didn’t go as planned, so we raised this with the organiser (Chucky), who offered a complimentary day out in Port Louis to make up for this. This exceeded our expectations and we managed to see much more than we thought thanks to Chucky and Kevin. I would like to highlight his professionalism, fairness and customer service to resolve this matter. Definitely the best service we experienced during our vacation in Mauritius.

The driver arrived promptly and was very pleasant. He explained how we were going to spend the day. He gave us lots of information about places and life in Mauritius. We enjoyed the opportunity to see many places.
We had a great day. Rajesh was a good guide and careful driver. We saw the highlights of northern Mauritius in a relaxed way. In the afternoon Rajesh took us to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. This is a must!
Super nice driver at Chucky Taxi!! He answered all our questions and shared so much knowledge. Very nice man who truly works with heart. He also adjusted the ride since we do not drink. We can only recommend him further. The places were very beautiful, but thanks to his explanations and knowledge, it was significantly better!! :) He also kindly took really nice pictures of us.

We used Chucky’s for a tour of the North Our driver was Sahil and he was great, really chatty and highly informative throughout the day. We much prefer having a personal tour and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. We visited all the famous spots in the North, but at our own pace. If you’re looking to do tours in Mauritius we would highly recommend this company and Sahil was fab! Our only complaint is we wish we had heard of them earlier in our holiday so that we could have used them for all our other tours.
