Rejoignez le monastère en prenant les Ailes de Tatev, le plus long téléphérique à double voie sans escale au monde, qui s'élève au-dessus des gorges de Vorotan à couper le souffle. Continuez jusqu'à la superbe cascade Shaki, où les eaux cristallines tombent en cascade de 18 mètres sur de spectaculaires falaises de basalte près de Sisian. Terminez votre voyage dans le village d’Areni, la capitale arménienne du vin, et profitez d’une dégustation de vins locaux dans la région où la vinification est née.

Nous monterons sur les Ailes de Tatev, le plus long téléphérique du monde (environ 6 km) et détenteur du record du monde Guinness ! Ce téléphérique nous mènera directement au monastère historique Tatev du IXe siècle. En chemin, vous aurez droit à une vue imprenable sur l'une des zones les plus pittoresques d'Arménie. Veuillez noter que le billet de téléphérique n'est pas inclus dans le prix.
Un monastère datant du 9ème siècle, qui était autrefois un centre éducatif et spirituel de l'Arménie. Il est construit sur un haut plateau dans les gorges de la rivière Vorotan, et est entouré de montagnes à couper le souffle et de forêts denses.
Shaki est considérée comme l'une des cascades les plus pittoresques d'Arménie. Il est situé dans la région de Syunik, célèbre pour ses monuments historiques et naturels. La cascade se forme sur la rivière Shaki, à l'afflux de Vorotan qui tombe dans une gorge profonde d'une hauteur de 18 mètres. Malgré sa faible hauteur, la cascade de Shaki a une grande capacité et le grondement de l'eau se fait entendre de loin. Il existe une légende liée à la cascade de Shaki. L'histoire raconte l'histoire de la belle fille Shake, qui s'est précipitée de la falaise, refusant d'obéir à la volonté des conquérants. En tombant, la robe de la jeune fille s'est ouverte au vent et s'est transformée en cascade. En l'honneur de Shake, la cascade s'appelait Shaki. Le territoire de la cascade de Shaki était habité par d'anciennes civilisations qui ont laissé des traces dans des niches rocheuses et des grottes. Une route sinueuse mène à la cascade, encore faut-il laisser la voiture et se rendre à la cascade par un chemin étroit.
Areni est connu pour son histoire spectaculaire dans la fabrication du vin, portant le nom de l'un des plus anciens cépages au monde. Vous aurez la chance d'explorer une cave locale et de vivre une expérience de dégustation avec une sélection de différents vins.

It was a wonderful tour! The road is long, but it feels easy because outside the window is beautiful, there is beautiful music in the car, the guide tells amazing stories, jokes. Separately about the guide - we're lucky with the Nectar. She's, as I said, the "Armenian mom" of our group. She told me everything, she was very kind to everyone, she helped, she told me, she showed me the most interesting places. Driver Edgar is also very good, positive and pleasant!! Anyway, go with them - you won't regret it! The tour itself is very well structured. There are stops for snacks, lunch, toilets, everything is comfortable on the road. The food is delicious! The sights themselves, of course... well, there's just no word on how good it is. Thank Armenia for our endless surprise. It's just 10,000/10. If you are coming to Armenia, Tatev and Shaki directly mast see 100%. You'll see a lot of beauty on the way. Wine tasting is top too, everything is delicious!

This tour is definitely worth the money and time. The whole day was super smooth and fun thanks to our guide Nectar. First of all, the guide told us anecdotes about the local history so that the trip would not be boring. Also, we took many breaks. The first was at a viewpoint with magnificent mountains! We then arrived at the Monastery and the guide told us the history of the fortress, which was informative and pleasant. We resumed the return trip by stopping at a restaurant. We were able to taste local dishes with different price ranges according to everyone's means. We then stopped to see waterfalls that were magnificent! To finish, we did a tasting of wines from the region, rather atypical for us who are used to French wines. I highly recommend this expedition: rich in emotion and with an incredibly kind guide and driver.
