We were on the Outback Tasting Tour From Cairns. Pick-up from our accommodation on time and with Chris as the guide. This is the only criticism, a mini-bus so my wife and I could not sit together. Otherwise Chris kept us entertained on our trip to Robson's Lookout. Then morning tea at Lake Barrine Teahouse with wonderful views over the lake. Off to Winter & Mann for a private tasting and to the shop in Yungaburra to buy their delights and clothing. We just missed seeing a platypus on the way to the iconic Curtain Fig Tree. Lunch, ice-cream and wine tasting at Shaylee Strawberry Farm. Afternoon tea at Gallo Dairyland for chocolates, cheeses and to my surprise, lactose free options. A walk through the small animal farm and off to The Humpy Nut World for more tastings and items to buy. Mount Uncle Distillery for tasting their wares. And finally Emerald Creek Ice Creamery for wonderful tastings of ice-cream and for me lactose free. What a wonderful full packed day. We were safely returned to our accommodation with our cherished purchases.
A great itinerary. Value for money. Only thing we would have liked was a wine tasting at one of the vineyards.

An enjoyable tour trip with interesting food stops and tastings. Our driver Stevie was great fun and informative with local knowledge and historic details provided. It was a full day event, taking almost nine hours from pick up to drop off, great value. Saw much of the countryside and plenty of food.

What a fabulous tour. Chris was fantastic, we had the added bonus of the beautiful Bosun. So much good food, drink, cheese, chocolate. Great scenery. We left this tour after 10 hours saying that we could do it again. Loved it

What an incredible way to see far north Queensland! Chris and his sweet canine sidekick Bosun were delightful hosts and kept us entertained all day. The food was great, and each stop offered fun new things to taste. It was a great way to sample lots of food, and also see a lot of different landscapes all in one day. They also went out of their way to pick us up/drop us off in Palm Cove, which was much appreciated!

We had a amazing day out with our guides Chris and Bosun today. I didn't know what to expect but the tour exceeded our expectations especially seeing the platypus. Had a wonderful day seeing the sights and feasting on local food and beverages and trying to spot a platypus or two as well. Chris our guide, and his trusty mate Bosun the delightful little pooch who we all thought gorgeous, gave us a very good tour and providing us with ecological, geological and historical aspects of the area. Had a different experience at every stop we visited. The local producers are amazing and we all should support local. Enjoyed the singalong as we were heading back to PD. Really topped off tbe whole day. Highly recommend and a must do while holidaying in the area.
