Tampa Downtown Helicopter Tour

My daughter got my wife and I a groupon certificate for a fathers day present. Pilot/ greeter/ checkin was very professional. We signed in and filled out the liability forms and had a short wait for our appointment times. We went out to the helicopter a few minutes early and after a brief explanation of safety rules. We buckled in and put headsets on for communication. The flight took us all around tampa in the air and allowed for great pictures. We saw the football stadium and busch gardens as well as many wealthy homes. Also cruise ships and high rise buildings. The pilot explained where we were and what we were looking at and was very informative. The trip lasted about 20 minutes and gave us a new perspective of Tampa. We left from there and drove to ybor city and walked around the old buildings that were instrumental in the cigar rolling industry. Great day

The whole experience was great! Our pilot was knowledgable and down to earth. 10 out of 10, we would definitely recommend!

Worth to try and with great pilot

I had an amazing flight adventure on 7 July 2026, alongside my Pilot-in-Command (PIC), over the Tampa Downtown Area, as well as the Tampa Bay Skyline and incredible "Birdseye" views of the Area Beaches, Mangroves, Natural Parks, Marine Life, etc. As a Passenger, sitting left-seat next to Jake, my (PIC), was awesome, and before our take-off, I chose this available Option: To go "doors off!!" I highly recommend you opt for this, as it was absolutely a blast for a more up-close, and Inspirational Flight Experience, not-to-mention the welcome 2x A/C effect of going doorless. During our flight, Jake pointed out all of the local points of interest, especially valuable for me, as an aspiring, soon-to-be, minted, Instrument Rated Private Pilot. I am doing my advanced flight training with Atlas Aviation, (next-door), a real, first-class, Fixed-Based Operator (FBO), whom just recently celebrated their 22+years of Service, at the Peter O. Knight Airport (TPF)!! I thoroughly engaged in conversation with Jake, regarding all things aviation, as well as telling him about my love of flying, as a Worldwide traveler with the Military, as a 28-year USAF Veteran, refueling U.S. Government Military/Chartered Aircraft, both Fixed-Wing, as well as Rotary (Helicopter(s), types, via Mobile Refueling Units (R-11) Trucks and Type III Hydrant, Constant Pressure, Airport Systems!! Again, I was "Stoked" to go flying with Jake and was, indeed, impressed by him, both, as being a Professional and Safe Pilot, as well as having a Friendly demeanor, to include their small, yet personable, staff @ flyVenture.com.!! Had a wonderful time. Jake our pilot was so kind to go over preflight instructions, headsets and life vest if needed. We flew over the city and Jake pointed out great places to visit and attractions. ALSO, I booked online. J Kenneth though online chat answered all question quickly.

We were in town a day early before heading out on a cruise. We had no rental car so we were just using a ride serivce. We booked a time, headed out to the venue and noticed the weather was looking a bit Tampa-ish for the afternoon. Just as we were dropped off the organizers said we were just getting ready to call you. The weather is looking bad. Long story short rather than cancelling on us we waited around for a while to see if it would clear up enough to fly. While we waited we were treated to champagne and chocolates. It cleared up and we set off for the field. When we got to the helicopter they asked if we wanted the doors off saying that was the best way to experience the flight. Well of course we went without doors and it was amazing. These guys could have simply just told us that flights were cancelled but they didn't. They could have not mentioned anything about doors off and we would have never known. We had a great time and everyone was so helpful and accomodating! Next time were in Tampa I'm going to budget for a much longer flight with this company. YOU SHOULD BOOK WITH NO THOUGHTS OR WORRIES. They really are this good a group of guys. Safety first, and as someone with a little bit of small aircraft knowledge I can appreciate all that they are doing.

we had an amazing time it was so much fun! we booked right around sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. the tour guide showed us some cool spots, was very knowledgeable and VERY cool. matched our vibe completely. he even took the golf cart out for us because my friends foot was sprained. 100% will do again!

Good Experience, but too short, the flight was just 10 minutes and the price is a little high, but the experience was great

One word to describe it: FANTASTIC!!! The helicopter flight beat all expectations. It was our 1 year anniversary and I wanted to do something special and this was a stunner. She was floored! She absolutely loved it and so did I. The pilot was a very knowledgeable tour guide. We wanted to see the Christmas lights around Tampa and didn't consider Busch Gardens. The pilot knew where to take us and even did a couple of circles around our house to see it from the air. We had a blast! I give this tour my highest recommendation and hope everyone has as great an experience as we did. We plan on making this tour an annual anniversary event. My complements to the pilot and many thanks for making the flight a memorable experience.
