Tala Mini Day Safari - Durban

Description

This mini-safari made a wonderful relaxing day trip from Durban. Simon was an excellent guide stopping often to point out animals and share information. The property was beautiful.
We used Endless Summer Tours in February and went to the Tala Game Reserve. We had the best time. Rhys was a great guide. He made sure we had great views of all the animals and he made the time searching for animals. This was a wonderful tour. I would highly recommend this company.
Hi. So glad you had the best time at Tala Game Reserve! I am so pleased to know my guidance made your tour very special. Thanks for the wonderful review, and we hope to see you again for another exciting tour, maybe a bit longer next time!
I hate writing bad reviews but my experience with this company is something other travelers should know about to make an informed decision. We booked a Tala Game Reserve tour with the company, they wanted a deposit and I was glad to do it. Since we were doing some extensive travel beforehand I paid the full price off far in advance. I was a little concerned at the time because they took a long time to get back to me and confirm the actual start time of the tour, but eventually they did. Now our travel plans are cancelled because of the current virus situation. I've now contacted them several times to cancel the tour (scheduled for March 27th) and get a refund. I've gotten no response at all. Very disappointing. Based on this experience I really can't recommend this company unless of course you can manage to pay on the spot when you are assured of getting the service paid for.
Good morning. I have just got back into the office after a week away and am very distressed and sad to see this review. It is always our aim to provide the best communication and service as possible. As can be seen by all our other reviews, this is usually the case. I had an 'out of office' reply set up on my email, with who to contact whilst I was away, not sure why you would not have received this. Anyway, I will be looking through, not only yours, but the many many cancellations we have received over the past few weeks due to this regrettable pandemic and world crisis. We will address each case via email in the coming days. Please, we ask for your patience in this regard. The entire world is in a state of chaos, no more so then the travel sector. The sheer volume, coupled with the ever-changing situation of the pandemic, is making it very difficult for us to get back to everybody timeously. We are following a chronological order, of cancellation and travel dates. Thank you.
Drive from Capetown to reserve about 2 hours. We took private driver but not necessary since join a group for Safari. Safari was very nice many great viewings. Unfortunately weather was rainy, wet and cold but recommend and hope for better weather
This was a wonderful shore excursion option from Durban for a small group day tour with the guide waiting for us to come off cruise ship which was held up a little by Durban customs. It was a good drive through the reserve with a comfortable vehicle and Dick as the guide was excellent.
This Enterprise is just super awesome. We booked the Tala Reserve with Valley of 1000 Hills and Zulu village and show as part of the Aida MIRA cruise for about 150 euros. The driver was well trained and had a lot to tell about wildness and animals. A specialist who also travels in Kruger and other parks. Tala is simply breathtaking and incredible with its own driver with expertise.
